What do you do and why do you do it?

I work as a school psychologist in a school for teenagers. Helping them is really grateful. Besides working, i like biking through Amsterdam, meeting up with friends, listening to music, dance and going to bars and restaurants!

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had and why was it so effing bad?

During school, I did a lot of different jobs and to be honest, I never had a bad one! I worked in a supermarket, in a restaurant and even in construction! Sorry guys, no bad stories to tell :)

Were you born and raised in Amsterdam? If not, where did you grow up and what brought you to Amsterdam?

A big part of my life, I lived in Amsterdam. When I was getting older, my parents decided to move to a small town near Amsterdam. I did highschool there. During Highschool I also did an education at a Dance Academy in Amsterdam, so every weekend I was here. When I turned 18, I immediatally moved back. I started University and rented my very first apartment in Amsterdam.

What’s your current hood in Amsterdam and what’s the best/worst thing about it?

My current hood is called Frederik Hendrikbuurt. The best part of living here, is being close to everything but far enough away from the busy huzz and buzz in Town. I can walk everything from here and I'm really really close to my favourite part; The Jordan area.

What kind of music do you listen to and what kind of music do you absolutely HATE?

Serious: I listend to Everything! From Pop to Classical music! A guilty pleasure: Singing a long with all the mainstreem pop music when I'm riding in my car :)

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

Nobody's wife from a Dutch singer called Anouk :) But also really sad songs, perfect to cry on!

Name the best TV shows of all time, and what makes them so good?

Urgh, I'm a huge fan of Friends! Í'm really into the Netflix series from now a days but nothing beats Friends!!! I know all the episodes out of my head.

Name some spots in Amsterdam that are good for a Tinder date.

Hanneke's boom, or De Waterkant, both near the water at night really romantic.

Which public figure would you want to see “roasted”? (every public figure is fair game).

hmmzzz the new President of the United States maybe?

Who’s your hero and where in Amsterdam would you take them out for a serious hang?

My hero's are people like Ghandi and Mandela. People who really mean something in this world and really did a good thing! Another hero is Jane Goodall who do so much good for apes!

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

At my ultimate favourite Amsterdam Store called Things I like Things I love :) A must go!

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

I really don't like the really really touristic bars in the Center. I also don't like area's outside of the ring of Amsterdam.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

I love sitting outside on the same terrace for hours and hours with my best friends, when the sun in shining. Because everyone is really busy and there is not much sun in Amsterdam, this nice summer nights don't happen to often!

Where do you go in Amsterdam for a casual night out?

For a casual night out I like to go to the Jordan Area. Nice bars and restaurants nothing to fancy but all good food and a nice vibe. I also really like the Pijp area!

Where would you go in Amsterdam to celebrate some freaking good news?

A night out in the Reguliers Dwarsstraat:)!

What’s your choice of transportation in Amsterdam and why?

Bike for sure!!! Reach the whole town in only 10 minutes, feel free, feel the breeze. I can name a 100 of reasons why you should bike in Amsterdam, everyone does!!

What are the Amsterdam spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

I would really recommend to walk through the Jordan area, to see the main tourist spots like Damsquare, Vondelpark, Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank House but also go to the more non-touristic areas!

What are the Amsterdam spots tourists should run from screaming?

For me that would be the Kalverstraat on a Saturday. It's so busy and crowded!! Also the cheap bars in the Center, don't go there, it's designed for tourists not for the locals.

Tomorrow’s your last day in Amsterdam. How do you spend it?

If the sun in shining I would bike to the Supermarket, buy good food and go to the Vondelpark (or Westerpark).Have a picknick, drink a beer and take in all the beautiful of this city.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

'Not a city but a whole country; I love Thailand, a lot! The culture, the food the environement, all perfect! I also love Barcelona because of the easygoing vibe!
