What do you do and why do you do it?

I work as an analyst at a software company. It's very fast pace which means it's never boring. I feel like my work has an impact since we are such a small team. Plus it doesn't hurt that my office overlooks the lake!

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

Lemonade by Beyonce - the whole record. It conveniently came out right after my last breakup.

What are the best TV shows of all time?

The Wire.

Name some spots in Austin that are good for a Tinder date.

Full Circle Bar because it has activities like skee ball and corn hole that you can play while you're getting to know each other. Whistlers because you can grab a drink and if the date goes well, you can also eat there! They have one of the best food trailers in town.

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

Dirty 6th. Although, I do love Firehouse hostel, which is right off dirty 6th.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

I love going to the greenbelt or other swimming holes, but the swimming holes in the greenbelt dry up and other swimming holes fill up quickly so I don't get to go as often as I would like.

Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Austin that you particularly like?

My favorite hidden bar is Watertrade. It's a great place to grab a cocktail and chat and down the street from one of my favorite places to go see music, the Gallery at the Continental Club. As for hole in the wall bars, I love Yellow Jacket Social Club. They have a delicious veggie sandwich. Trust me! I'm not even a vegetarian. And the trees outside are so rad. I will go there day or night!

What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in Austin? How much did it cost and what did you get there?

Kyoten. It's $150 before alcohol and they have amazing sake, so it was ex-pen-sive! It is a minimalist, omakase (chef's choice) sushi restaurant. One of the best meals I've ever had!

Where can you get the best cocktail in Austin? Which one do you like?

Garage bar. They used to have a drink called the Japanese Cowboy that was amazing! They won an award for the Indian Paintbrush, which is also delicious. But I recommend going on a weekday. It gets wayy to crowded on the weekends.

Where would you take your partner in Austin if you wanted to really pamper them?

Staycation at Hotel Saint Cecelia. The rooms have a record player in them! It's like traveling without having to fly or drive anywhere!

What are the Austin spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Barton Springs Pool, White Horse, BBQ (there are lots of good places)

Tomorrow’s your last day in Austin. How do you spend it?

Eating tacos, wake surfing on Lake Austin, drinking old fashioneds at Whistlers, and dancing to live music!
