What are the Bangkok spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun and trying the street food around there. It has many fantastic street food places. If you have a chance to go to Wat Arun, please walk to Thammasart University. In the student canteen you will find local Thai Food with the cheapest price that you can find in Bangkok!

Do’s and don’ts in Bangkok: (Ex: Tipping: yes/ no, public transport tips, safety tips etc.):

Restaurants that have service charge - tipping: no. Parking man - tipping: yes

What do you do and why do you do it?

Talk with Thai people!! Thai people always smile if you talk or ask them anything. Even if somebody can't understand English they will try to do their best to help you, maybe by body language or by finding someone who can understand English to help you.

How much do you spend on an average night out on the town?

A night out in BKK has many things to offer. You can go to night markets; Tarad-nud Rod Fai. At this place, there are lots of streets and small bars for chilling, or you can go to Khao San Rd. You can mingle with Thai people and many foreigners around there and have street food as well, such as Pad Thai, Grilled Pork or Ka bab. If you just like bars and restaurants I recommend Thong Lor or Ekamai.

Which neighborhood is it best to experience during the day / night?

The best area that I recommended is Charoen Krung Area. In the morning you can go to Jok Prince for rice gruel, which is Michelin-recommended street food, then take a boat to travel the Chao Praya River. In the evening go to Asiatique The Riverfront to enjoy dinner and at night you can back to Silom Road to the enjoy pubs and bars around there.

Where would you take a date for a romantic night out?

To the Eagle Nest Bar at Tha Tien. You should go there in the evening to see the sunset and at night you will get the view of Wat Arun and enjoy food on the rooftop. It's a very fantastic spot especially in the winter season - nice weather with the best view and good food, there's nothing better than this.

Drunk and hungry - where do you go in Bangkok?

Groove at Central World.

It's freeeeezing out - what should a visitor do?

You may not feel like this in Bangkok, Thailand. In winter the coldest weather is not lower than 15C. Instead, I have a recommendation if you feel hot - you can go to a coffee shop. In Bangkok, we have many beautiful and different styles of coffee cafes where you can enjoy coffee and some dessert. I recommend. Floral by Napassorn, this cafe has a unique style; they decorate the shop with dry flowers dictated by the season. The cheesecake is tasty. This is one hidden place in the Pak Krong Tarad area.

Where do you take your guest when you want to impress?

Of course Bangkok old town, Charoen Krung and Yao Wa Rat. These two places are my favorite places as well. Although public transportation has only taxis and busses, it's quite easy to get there. Around Charoen Krung Area there's some back street art. If you want to see, you can go to the alley beside Bang Rak Post Office, where there's really nice hidden street art.

Special views that mainstream tourists don't know about:

You shouldn't do a travel tour with a travel agency that approaches you in a sightseeing place. The price isn't reasonable. You can go everywhere in Bangkok by yourself and there are many alternative ways to get everywhere.

Best place for a cheap bite on-the-go:

Pier 21 food court at Terminal 21. This is a fantastic food court, I once read that the owner's idea behind this place was making every kind of street food available in the department store at prices much cheaper than normal department store prices. You can eat Pad Thai that costs less than 30 baht or noodles for less than 35 baht. Dessert is cheap as well. Mango Sticky Rice is only 40 baht. It's the best!!

Tomorrow’s your last day in Bangkok. How do you spend it?

I will enjoy foods in Bangkok. Of course I will go to every restaurant I like. Don't just trust me; please try to visit here. You will enjoy and love all of them.
