What are you working on these days?

A Managing Director at The Storytellers – The Foodtellers.

What drives you mad these days?

The refugee problem and the decisions made by the EU.

What makes you happy?

Seeing my children smile.

When was the last time you cried?

2-3 days ago while watching a video of refugees arriving in Lesbos.

What’s your latest musical obsession?

Junip – Line of fire.

When it’s time for a new wardrobe, where do you go?

It depends on how much “dough” I can spend, but I like shops like Carhartt, Hackney.

What’s your go-to café in Barcelona?

Any terrace, I´m not an expert in coffee, but if you are I recommend Satan´s Coffee Corner.

What’s your favorite street or neighborhood to wander through?

Sarria – Poble Sec.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in Barcelona but never actually do?

A morning hike up to the Tibidabo viewpoint to admire the city view.

Who’s your hero (dead or alive) and where would you take them to show them a good time?

Batman, I would take him to Cañete bar.

If it’s been raining outside for days and you’re sick of staying in – where would you go?

I would go to the beaches of Bogatell or Marbella and watch the sun and the sea in autumn or winter, never in summer, there are a lot of people there in summer.

What’s that place in Barcelona you feel like only you know about?

El rompeolas, close to the “W” hotel.

If tomorrow was your last day in Barcelona before you left for good, how and where would you spend it?

Eating rice in Martinez or chiringuito Escribà, walking to Bogatell beach, go to Tibidabo, Bar Tomás to eat some Bravas and drink some beers. Finish in Montjouich to see the other city perspective views.

Given the choice, mayor of which neighborhood would you be?

Sarrià – minus the snobs.

What’s the spot in Barcelona you wouldn’t be caught dead in?

El Nacional in Passeig de Gràcia or any Baguetina Catalana.

You’ve just received the best news ever. Where would you go to celebrate and with whom?

To Bolonia beach in Cádiz with my friends and family.

What’s the thing you love doing that isn’t work, relationship or family related?

Riding my bicycle around Parc de la Ciutadella.

When you feel like a night out, what’s your go-to place and why?

Betty Ford or Manchester. It’s near my home, has nice drinks and ambiance.
