a bit about Paulina

What are you working on these days?

What drives you mad these days?

Avarice and narrow-mindedness.

What makes you happy?

Spending time with my friends, smiling faces on the street, kids wearing costumes on their way to the Kindergarten.

When was the last time you cried?

Last week at a friends’ birthday. She looked so happy and thankful for her family and friends it moved me to tears.

What’s your latest musical obsession?

I love to listen to the radio in my car.

What was the last movie you watched? Was it any good?

Inherent Vice with Joaquin Phoenix. I admire him and his work.

When it’s time for a new wardrobe, where do you go?

Area around Weinmeisterstraße.

What’s your go-to café in Berlin?

Coffee Corner right next to my house. I'm there almost every morning to start my day.

What’s your favorite street or neighborhood to wander through?

My neighborhood Kreuzberg next to the canal.

Who’s your hero (dead or alive) and where would you take them to show them a good time?

Falco (Austrian Singer) or Dieter Meier (Yello) anywhere anytime. Classy poets!

If it’s been raining outside for days and you’re sick of staying in – where would you go?

One of Berlin’s beautiful museums or to Panorama Bar.

What’s that place in Berlin you feel like only you know about?

The backyard of my old office from COOKIES next to the Komische Opera in the middle of the city. Listening to the opera singers practising, this always felt so unreal and special.

If tomorrow was your last day in Berlin before you left for good, how and where would you spend it?

I do not want to think about my last day in Berlin.

Given the choice, mayor of which neighborhood would you be?

Exactly where I live. Kreuzkölln.

What’s the spot in Berlin you wouldn’t be caught dead in?

You’ve just received the best news ever. Where would you go to celebrate and with whom?

With ma girls for sure. Soho House rooftop to start the night...

What’s the thing you love doing that isn’t work, relationship or family related?

Diving, dancing, dramatising.

When you feel like a night out, what’s your go-to place and why?

Crackers, Parker Bowls, Beuster, Grill Royal, my balcony...
