What are you working on?

Lot’s of exciting different things, politics, academics, investments, art.

What drives you mad these days?

Today: That AI develops so slow. Tomorrow: Don’t know yet.

What makes you happy?

Friends and success.

When was the last time you cried?

At the birth of my daughter.

What is playing in your earphones nowadays?

Techno, Like Charlotte Deep, Jan Ehret, ‘Calling Earth – (Harry Axt Remix)” or “Fu**k you up (PsytrexDJ). “Antigone (The Mechanists)”; “Truncate – Dial”; “Truss (Auden)”. Oh there are hundreds…. on Soundcloud.

What was the last movie you went to?

Ghost in a Shell... great aesthetic.

When it’s time for a new wardrobe, where do you go to do your shopping?

The best (in Berlin for gents like mientus KuDamm).

What’s a place in town you feel like only you know about?

My thoughts.

It’s raining for days and you’re sick of staying at home – where would you go?

There are thousands of fabulous indoor possibilities. One of my favourites is Soho House green sofa @ the chimney.

Where’s your favourite street or neighbourhood to wander in?

I like for instance Kottbusser Torplatz and area around it, Adalbertstrasse, Neukölln etc.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city but never actually do?

I would love to go more often to the theatres (Berliner Ensemble now with Oliver Reese, Volksbühne, Staatsoper), but there is always something else going on.

Who’s your hero and where would you take them out to eat or drink in your city?

I would like to have a talk with Pope Benedikt XVI and Jürgen Habermas, with Sloterdijk and Houellebecq and if time Zizek, no other heroes. I would like to meet them in the Sistine Chapel or in The Concubine-Séparée @ China Club Berlin.

What would make a perfect day in the sun for you?

To be outside in the sun - an open-air rave.

What’s your go-to café?

I have been thinking a while about that question. When the sun is shining there are hundreds.

If you were given a choice, mayor of which neighborhood would you be?

I would decline.

What’s the place in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

Probably Zehlendorf, but I don’t know it well.

You’ve just got the best news ever. Where would you go to celebrate and with whom?

Maybe the rooftop of Soho House? After Midnight there would, of course, be soooo many other places like Starker August. With whom? With family or with the friends I was introduced to last.

What do you love doing the most that is not work, relationship or family related?

Read, rave, look for art, socialise.

When you feel like going on a night out, what’s the first place you usually consider going to?

Der Starke August, Toast Hawai, KaterBlau, Chaussee 131, Wilde Renate, but better: someplace I don’t know yet.
