What do you do and why do you do it?
I am a PhD graduate student at Boston University studying how forests are responding to climate change! I have always had a strong environmental ethic and a curiosity about the natural world. Now I get to research one of the most pressing issues of our time - climate change. I love the process of research, from discovering a new question to actually getting to answer it! Graduate school has been engaging, challenging, insightful, and exiting for me!
