a bit about Fanni

What are you working on these days?

My fashion brand ‘Ooh my deer’.

What drives you mad these days?

I really do focus on positive things, that matter to me & let the magic happen!

What makes you happy?

Mind-flowing experiences!

When was the last time you cried?

I have endless reasons for a good cry 🙂 I guess it was on my Mom’s birthday.

What’s your latest musical obsession?

Green & Gold / Lianne La Havas.

What was the last movie you watched? Was it any good?

Mustang (deep, fragile but moving).

When it’s time for a new wardrobe, where do you go?

I wear my designs and my designer friends’ goodies.

What’s your go-to café in Budapest?

There are a few: Fekete, Espresso Embassy, My Little Melbourne, Green Cup.

What’s your favorite street or neighborhood to wander through?

Those little and narrow streets of the Buda Castle surroundings, Károlyi kert in the 5th district, and the green heart of the city: the Margaret Island. Extra hint: sit next to the statue of József Attila at the bank of the river Danube and stare the sunset over the Matthias Church of Buda.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in Budapest but never actually do?

Since I have my own bike I don’t need the services of BUBI (BUdapest BIke renting services) but I did it a few times and it’s fun!

Who’s your hero (dead or alive) and where would you take them to show them a good time?

I’d love to take Yves Saint Laurent for a coffee to Book Café – Lotz Terem as it’s sooo classy.

If it’s been raining outside for days and you’re sick of staying in – where would you go?

I would visit all the very best periodic exhibitions we have in town!

What’s that place in Budapest you feel like only you know about?

I have sooo many favorite hidden places, but, the very best thing to do, is look for the Statue of Liberty from the streets of Pest, its so exciting when and how the lady pops up between the walls of the city.

If tomorrow was your last day in Budapest before you left for good, how and where would you spend it?

I would cycle around my favorite places including the 5th, 6th and 7th district, and I would stop along the river Danube several times staring at the sunset light behind the Buda Castle.

Given the choice, mayor of which neighborhood would you be?

Actually, all districts deserves a better mayor.

What’s the spot in Budapest you wouldn’t be caught dead in?

Beerbike tour.

You’ve just received the best news ever. Where would you go to celebrate and with whom?

I’d probably call or meet my mother wherever’s fastest, she is the best supporter ever.

What’s the thing you love doing that isn’t work, relationship or family related?

When you feel like a night out, what’s your go-to place and why?

It’s surely in downtown, in the jungle of 7th district. Probably Ellátókert.
