What do you do and why do you do it?

Food and food culture is my passion so I am a food tour guide and I create cookbooks as a publisher and an editor-writer.

How much do you spend on an average night out on the town?

Around 20 Euros. Budapest is still a cheap city to live in.

Your all-time favorite musicians:

As an Israeli born and raised I love Israeli oldies. It makes me feel at home.

Which neighborhood is it best to experience during the day / night?

The 7th District which used to be the Jewish quarter became the nightlife neighborhood. This is THE place to explore at night.

Where would you take a date for a romantic night out?

Budapest itself is such a romantic city. Wherever you would go - you would feel in love.

Drunk and hungry - where do you go in Budapest?

In this case, you have to find a Lángos place and eat this amazing deep-fried dough with garlic, sour cream and cheese.

It's freeeeezing out - what should a visitor do?

Drink forralt bor - Mulled wine. It will make you HOT.

Where do you take your guest when you want to impress?

We go to a Hungarian restaurant. The local cuisine is very impressive.

Your go-to brunch spots:

Szimpla kert on 14 Kazinczy St. is a cool place to have Sunday Brunch. With a farmers market downstairs and a huge all-you-can-eat buffet, this is a great place to start the weekend.

Your perfect night out in Budapest includes:

A glass of Fröccs - A spritzer (Wine and soda water).

Tomorrow’s your last day in Budapest. How do you spend it?

I would take it easy, have a coffee and a couple of cakes, eat a wonderful lunch and just do nothing. It is important to leave a good taste for next time.
