Were you born and raised in Chicago? If not, where did you grow up and what brought you to Chicago?

Born in Ohio. Raised in St. Louis. Love the Midwest and Midwesterners. Moved to Chicago for the food, fun and friendly crowd. Some of the best restaurants and bars in the USA/World. Scenic, vibrant city.

What’s your current hood in Chicago and what’s the best/worst thing about it?

West Loop. Everything about it makes it the best. The food. The vibe. The culture.

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

There's no time to be sad in this busy city. Only time for eating, drinking and enjoying great music at a local bar.

Name the best TV shows of all time, and what makes them so good?

Hey Dude - brings me back to my childhood. Friends - bring me back to the 90's and good memories.

Every neighborhood in Chicago is great

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

Sit along the river with a gorgeous view of the architecture and people watch.

Soho House

Where would you go in Chicago to celebrate some freaking good news?

Everyday is a celebration in Chicago! On VERY special days, I head to RPM Steak for a delicious steak and dirty martini.

What’s your choice of transportation in Chicago and why?

Bus. Uber. The buses in Chicago are not like other cities. They are frequently used and nice. The routes are easy.

What are the Chicago spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Architecture Tour. Wrigley Field. Cloud Gate. Ribeye steak at a great Chicago steakhouse.

What are the Chicago spots tourists should run from screaming?

Navy Pier on a Saturday in the summer. Otherwise, every Chicago tourist spot is pretty great and worth seeing!

Tomorrow’s your last day in Chicago. How do you spend it?

On a boat on Lake Michigan and cruising up the Chicago river for happy hour. For dinner, I would go have a great martini and big ole Chicago style steak.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Buenos Aires. The food is similar to Chicago and so are the people.
