What do you do and why do you do it?

I teach bachelor students in pedagogy and work as a consultant for a british company, who specialize in development within public schooling. I do it because I believe that children and young people deserve a better education than I had when growing up in London.

Harlem River (Kevin Morby) Skinny Love (Bon Iver), I Need My Girl (The National), Hallelujah (Leonard Cohen), Again (Archive), Lighthouse (Patrick Watson), To build a home (Cinematic Orchestra), Queen (Perfume Genius) etc.

What are the best TV shows of all time?

Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Game of Thrones, Westworld, The Night Of, Vice, Stranger Things, The Handmaidens Tale, The Office, Ozark, Narcos and The Wire.

Name some spots in Copenhagen that are good for a Tinder date.

Who’s your hero and where in Copenhagen would you take them out for a serious hang?

Jack Nicholson and would probably take him to Kind of Blue to meet the owner, Klaus, who is a film director

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

I don't like Nyhavn, Rådhuspladsen or Jorcks Passage on a friday and saturday night, so I would never go there.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

I love to swim in the harbour and sea, but either the weather is terrible (I am not a big fan of winter bathing) or I don't get the time to do it. I also really love doing cooking classes, going to the theatre and going to concerts, but I am always a little late at buying tickets for different events..

What’s the most decadent / extreme dish you ever ate in Copenhagen and where did you get it?

That must have been a snail on a flower at Noma. The very first "dish" which was served.

Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Copenhagen that you particularly like?

1656 is a small bar on Gasværksvej, which makes amazing drinks at regular prices - and has great service and decor

What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in Copenhagen? How much did it cost and what did you get there?

I had dinner at Noma. Need I say more ;) It was a 19 course menu with 13-14 different types of wines. I think! I lost count after a while

What restaurant in Copenhagen looks crap, but the food’s amazing?

Dim sum and cocktails

Where can you get the best cocktail in Copenhagen? Which one do you like?

Salon39 makes an amazing whiskey sour.

Where would you take your partner in Copenhagen if you wanted to really pamper them?

Either Ni'mat spa or Kurbadet in Flirtholm. It's part of the swimming pool and an very nice spa.

Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?

Tyrkisk Peber, salt liquorice, Flødeboller, Flæskestegs sandwich. Not exactly a snack, but even vegetarians should try that sandwich once in their lifetime ;)

What’s the one place you think is overrated in Copenhagen?

Lagkagehuset is very overrated

Oysters and Grill

What are the Copenhagen spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Harry's place, Lele street kitchen, the meatpacking district, street food on papirøen, Gasoline grill, Louisiana - museum of modern art, Christianshavn and Christiania, Dyrehaven and Taarbæk, Graves in Assistens Kirkegåard, Absalon Church, Botanical gardens, Rubys and Kind of Blue

Tomorrow’s your last day in Copenhagen. How do you spend it?

Dancing with one of the waitresses at Lusso ;)

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Barcelona. I love the food, history, culture and atmosphere. Especially the food! And the nightlife isn't bad either ;)
