a bit about Pedro
What do you do and why do you do it?
I'm a Marketing Manager, currently working for a travel tech company based in Copenhagen. My role is to inspire people to travel more. Besides working with digital marketing, I have a passion for photography and have been traveling the world collecting portraits and nature pictures.
You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?
Bombay Bicycle Club - Flaws full album
What are the best TV shows of all time?
House of Cards is the one in my mind at the moment.
Name some spots in Copenhagen that are good for a Tinder date.
Go for lunch and a few glasses of wine at Manfreds. Continue with a coffee at Coffee Colective, have Ice Cream at Istid, and end with a walk at Assistens Kirkegård, all around Jægersborggade in Norrebro.
Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?
COS and Han Kbh.
What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?
Little mermaid, too many tourists.
What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?
Winter bathing! I love to jump in the water when it's cold (as long as there is a sauna next to it). I never do it because my friends are not brave enough to join me.
Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Copenhagen that you particularly like?
La Fontaine, jazz bar. It is a little bar in the city center, one of the oldest in Copenhagen, they play live jazz every week. It is lovely.
What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in Copenhagen? How much did it cost and what did you get there?
I prefer to spend my money on traveling, so I'm more likely to cook at home instead of going to expensive places. There are tons of expensive places in Copenhagen, but I am not the right person to talk to about them.
Where can you get the best cocktail in Copenhagen? Which one do you like?
Rubys - it is pricey but the drinks are amazing.
Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?
HOT DOG - although you can find hot dogs anywhere else in the world, the ones you can find in Copenhagen are special. They are delicious, and you can find them everywhere. Don’t leave Copenhagen without trying one of the local hotdogs.
What’s the one place you think is overrated in Copenhagen?
Culture Box - the club is known for being one of the best electronic music clubs in Europe. They do have good music, but the place is too small and it always get so crowed that you cannot even walk inside. I think the overall experience isn't great.
