What do you do and why do you do it?

I do Art Direction because I absolutely love ANYTHING that has to do with design. From interior design to motion design, I love to create stuff, think of cool ideas and transform them into designs.

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had and why was it so effing bad?

Waitressing in a very bad restaurant during an event (thank god it only lasted a week). Because the food wasn't good so clients kept complaining and the chef screamed at one of them once and the atmosphere was just awful during the whole week.

Were you born and raised in Geneva? If not, where did you grow up and what brought you to Geneva?

No I was born in Lausanne and raised in a little village up a hill right in between Lausanne and Geneva. I then changed from landscapes of cows and forests to the city of Geneva to study Art Direction.

What’s your current hood in Geneva and what’s the best/worst thing about it?

My hood in Geneva is in Plain Palais. The best thing about it is that its in the middle of all the cool places, and right next to a lot of my favorite places. The worst thing about it is that sometimes there can be sketchy people trying to get your attention but if you just say hello or ignore them they never bother you any further.

What kind of music do you listen to and what kind of music do you absolutely HATE?

On a day to day basis I love Alternative, Indie, Pop, Rock and House but when the night comes I am a total Techno animal. I can't listen to hard metal, screaming people just make me a bit uncomfortable, and I'm not a big fan of any song that is too rude and disrespectful.

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

Jamie Cullum - All At Sea / Years & Years - Memo / Bon Iver - Holocene / Coldplay - Warning Sign / Foals - London Thunder / Matt Maeson - Tribulation (Oh my GOD this song!) / The 1975 - Robbers / Lewis Capaldi - Bruises / Vance Joy - Mess is Mine / Lord Huron - The Night We Met/ There are so many more but this is definitely my top 10 (and I think it's enough sad songs for the day haha).

Name the best TV shows of all time, and what makes them so good?

Oh I'll narrow it down to a top 5 cause otherwise I'll be typing until tomorrow: 1. Misfits, because its genius, hilarious and scandalous and it covers very interesting topics whilst keeping that good old english humour / 2. Peaky Blinders, because this show is so bloody epic! The actors, the era, the story line, how it's filmed, everything! / 3. Scrubs, because I identify to JD with his constant day dreaming, and I just find it hilarious / 4. Sherlock, because.. Well Benedict Cumberbatch obviously! / 5. Orange is the new black, because thanks to this series I bonded with a girl who is now my best friend for life.

Name some spots in Geneva that are good for a Tinder date.

For a coffee I would definitely say Birdie (www.birdiecoffee.com). For drinks, the "Rue de l'école de médecine" is the best place, and my personal favorite bar is called the "Kraken" (www.lekraken-bar.ch). For food, definitely "La Muse Geule" (lamusegueule.ch), they serve amazing burgers and the place has a super cool vibe. In the summer though, I would definitely recommend just going for a beer at "La pointe" (www.arv-ge.ch), its right by the river so you can enjoy your date with your feet hanging above the water.

Which public figure would you want to see “roasted”? (every public figure is fair game).

So I'm guessing it has to be someone who hasn't been roasted yet? That's a tough one because I don't really care enough to hate any public figure except for Trump, but he's had his fair share of roasting already ;)

Who’s your hero and where in Geneva would you take them out for a serious hang?

Ouh if I had to choose one hero whom I don't know personally I would say the youtuber Dodie Clark. I think I would take her for a hike outside of Geneva so we could chat about anything and everything and it would give her great content for her youtube channel (in terms of the landscapes).

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

Well, since Switzerland has very few cool shops, and the only ones are more expensive than anywhere else so I usually order my clothes on this cool website called Zalando (its the same thing as asos basically) or I go shopping when I travel. Unfortunately, Switzerland isn't great for shopping, but in Geneva, if you do want to splurge you can go to the "Place du Molard" and walk along "Rive" which is where all the shops are.

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

A Club called "Java". Not my vibe at all. I really don't recommend!

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

I had to think hard about this one. I've never gotten a tattoo in Geneva, but there are a lot of amazing artists there, it's just its quite expensive. But I'd love to get a tattoo there once (by Loïc LeBeuf for example, I love his work).

Where do you go in Geneva for a casual night out?

Same places I recommended before so the "Rue de l'école de médecine" or in the summer "La Pointe" or another similar place that's so cool in the summer is "La Barje des Lavandières".

Where would you go in Geneva to celebrate some freaking good news?

I'd have before drinks at someone's place in Geneva with all my friends (if it's cold) or by the river (if its warm) and then go out either at the "Zoo", "Gravière" or "Motel Campo" depending on what kind of music they are playing that night.

What’s your choice of transportation in Geneva and why?

Tram is good, it takes you close to where you want to be very efficiently, but I love to walk as well cause even though I know the place, there are always some hidden gems to uncover.

What are the Geneva spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Well it's always nice to go see the "Jet d'eau de Genève" up close, but it's very quickly done and dusted so after that I would suggest going to the Botanical Gardens cause it's so pretty! I'd also walk to the "Parc des Bastions" and then move the Plain Palais to go to the MAMCO, which is an amazing contemporary art museum.

What are the Geneva spots tourists should run from screaming?

Well I would stay away from any restaurant I don't put on my map, a lot of "tourist catchers" are overpriced and not too tasty.

Tomorrow’s your last day in Geneva. How do you spend it?

If my last day is in summer, I'd start with Brunch at Birdie's, then just go chill by the river with friends, have sushis for lunch (still by the river) then go for a swim. Get changed before going for the "apéro" (which is basically drinks around 6pm), have a burger at Inglewood's and then go chill some more by the river, then go out to one of my 3 favorite nightclubs.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

My favorite vacation city would have to be London. Being half British I always feel like going back home when I go there, and I have all my favorite spots that I love to visit, and friends and family too.
