What do you do and why do you do it?

I work with communications mainly regarding human rights. I do it because I love to write and to make difficult things easier by using other words or choosing different ways of telling a story. Human rights is just a necessary thing.

Go your own way by Fleetwood Mac and Let her go by Passenger

Really hard but I do love Stranger Things

Boule Bar, Slottskogen (that´s the city park), Sky Bar (because you can talk about the view and what you see and what you know about different spots that you see), Liseberg (the amusement park)

Who’s your hero and where in Gothenburg would you take them out for a serious hang?

Malalah is my hero. I’d show her our public schools and I’d bring her on a boat trip in the archipelago

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

Oh! Everywhere. I like to keep my warderobe in black, white and blue, but the garments need to be somewhat special and well sown.

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

Avenyn at night time. It´s the biggest street in Gothenburg, and I find the clubs there somewhat embarrassing.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

I love to go to Saltholmen all by myself and just swim and sunbathe there for a day. But there are not that many days to choose from in Sweden when it comes to heat and I´m usually either working or with my kids or friends.

What’s the most decadent / extreme dish you ever ate in Gothenburg and where did you get it?

I don´t remember one exact dish, but it was at Toso, an asian extravagant restaurant at the top of Avenyn (Avenyn is ok in that end).

Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Gothenburg that you particularly like?

It´s called "mellanrummet" which translates to the space inbetween. It´s situated at Third Longstreet, Tredje Långgatan.

What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in Gothenburg? How much did it cost and what did you get there?

Maybe it was a spa visit to St Jörgens. It really is a good spa, I´ve visited quite a few. :) It was maybe 3000 Swedish kronor for staying over night, dinner and a spa ritual.

What restaurant in Gothenburg looks crap, but the food’s amazing?

Beefeaters Inn at Plantagegatan

Where can you get the best cocktail in Gothenburg? Which one do you like?

Dorsia or Puta Madre. I´m always up for gin and tonic or most kinds of mojitos.

Where would you take your partner in Gothenburg if you wanted to really pamper them?

I Think Dorsia would be the place to go then.

Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?

Salty liqourice and Marabou chocolate I think. I´m not much of a candy eater, but I’ d recommend the chocolate.

Burgerssons. It´s a Burger joint that hipsters love.

What’s the one place you think is underrated in Gothenburg?

I think there are some really good restaurants in the suburbs, but i haven´t been there. I´ve heard about a place called Jenin Grill at Hisingen, and one of these days I´m going to go.

What are the Gothenburg spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Saltholmen and go by boat to one of the islands, Götaplatsen is nice, Botanical garden.

Tomorrow’s your last day in Gothenburg. How do you spend it?

I´d just wander around in the area where I live (Linné) which is my favourite part of town.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Lissabon and San Fransisco. Those two cities are quite similar. There is a large red bridge both cities are situated by the water. The atmosphere is relaxed, there is fashion, design, culture, nice architecture and book stores
