What do you do and why do you do it?

In addition to being an architecture student, I spend most of my time by exploring, watching independent films, dreaming, moving around with my analogue camera, drinking coffee and watching sunsets. Usually, I do these things because I want to enrich every minute of my life with a peaceful atmosphere, but sometimes I do them unconsciously.

Kings Of Convenience, Blonde Redhead, Beach House, The Radio Dept.

What are the best TV shows of all time?

Breaking Bad yo!

Name some spots in Istanbul that are good for a Tinder date.

For a cosy atmosphere, I reccomend Böcek Cafe or Varuna Gezgin. Also Maçka Park would be a nice spot to get to know each other. As a fine dining restaurant, I will say Chilai Bebek.

Etli ekmek was really extreme! It means bread with meat in Turkish, and it has a weird shape; it is longer than the table! Konyalılar Etli Ekmek is a good spot for it.

There are many here :)

What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in Istanbul? How much did it cost and what did you get there?

Nicole Restaurant, it's an amazing fine dining restaurant with extremely talented chefs. An average dinner costs nearly 250 TL.

What restaurant in Istanbul looks crap, but the food’s amazing?

Balkan Lokantası <3

Where can you get the best cocktail in Istanbul? Which one do you like?

Alexandra Cocktail Bar is my favourite spot recently. Passiflora would be a great choice for these summer nights.

Where would you take your partner in Istanbul if you wanted to really pamper them?

Neolokal is the ideal place with its gourmet foods and amazing terrace view.

Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?

Islak hamburger, midye dolma, kokoreç, çiğ köfte.

What’s the one place you think is overrated in Istanbul?

What’s the one place you think is underrated in Istanbul?

Kuzguncuk, actually I'm a bit satisfied with this situation :)

What are the Istanbul spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Well, as a first time visitor be sure that you have been in the two continents, have some turkish coffee in Beyoğlu, get lost in the narrow streets of Galata, walk through the coastline.

Tomorrow’s your last day in Istanbul. How do you spend it?

I would take a walk through the Bosphorus, have a cup of coffee and watch the sunset in Galata.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Paris. I know that sounds a bit cliche, but Paris has a unique mood that I can't even express well. Also it may have a relation with my French movie addiction, I don't know haha.
