What do you do and why do you do it?
I'm a fashion designer, I created IRONI - a shirt brand for stylish men and women. You can also see my music blog on my website. I am the other half of the dj duo Turkish BatMitzva. I love music and I love fashion - I had to do something with both.
What’s the worst job you’ve ever had and why was it so effing bad?
I can't name names, but let's just say I'm not a sales person :)
Were you born and raised in Istanbul? If not, where did you grow up and what brought you to Istanbul?
I was born in Tel Aviv, grew up in Istanbul since age 5.
What’s your current hood in Istanbul and what’s the best/worst thing about it?
Ulus - quite but far from the center.
What kind of music do you listen to and what kind of music do you absolutely HATE?
I love most of the music genres, as long as it is not heavy rock or metal.

Who’s your hero and where in Istanbul would you take them out for a serious hang?
My grandfather, take him to a nice brunch by the Bosphorus.
Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?
In little hidden pasages in Taksim
What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?
Some fancy club that requires dressing up
What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?
Get lost in the little passages and streets in Moda and Taksim- Galata, dig in to vinyls and vintage stores.
Where do you go in Istanbul for a casual night out?
A neighbourhood bar in Cihangir or Topagaci
Where would you go in Istanbul to celebrate some freaking good news?
Have dinner in Yeni Lokanta, continue to a cocktail bar and then hopefully if there is a good concert, go to Babylon to enjoy good music.
What’s your choice of transportation in Istanbul and why?
metro - simply because there is no traffic.
What are the Istanbul spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?
Crossing the Bosphorus with ferry
Tomorrow’s your last day in Istanbul. How do you spend it?
Start with a good Turkish breakfast by the Bosphorus. Continue to have a walk by the Bosphorus. From there go to hidden passages and shops around Taksim, Galata, and Kadikoy.
What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?
Any place is fun as long as you have good company.
