What do you do and why do you do it?

I try to enjoy every single minute by having tons of different focus areas. Multitasking and chaotic life style is my thing. I am currently a foreign artist guide and traveler myself. I spend my time mostly with creative individuals and music bands / dancers or international press members in the city as their guide. Having the degree of M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and Atmospheric Science did not stop me to work for art charities and international festivals and travel the world. I could not stick myself in an office and settle down in one place. So 'on the move style' is my kind of thing!

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

My Love Took Me Down To The River - Little Green Cars

What are the best TV shows of all time?

Mozart in the Jungle / The Big Bang Theory

Name some spots in Istanbul that are good for a Tinder date.

Rooftops are great for any date! Remember you are sitting on a "Seven hills" city, do not stay below.

Who’s your hero and where in Istanbul would you take them out for a serious hang?

I appreciate dancers, performers, art lovers and travelers. Any vagabond soul with crazy and free vibes are welcome to my world. But at the end, I am literally the best person I know, I usually take myself to cool and chill places around the world ;) So if you are an easy going and fun person like me, probably I will take you to Solera Wine&Dine to get to know you more.

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

Mostly from vintage stores.

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

Anywhere about 1 hour far from main center.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

Dancing on the roof! (Not talking about a regular rooftop bar. Historical or even a forbidden place would be great)

What’s the most decadent / extreme dish you ever ate in Istanbul and where did you get it?

Pumpkin Soup / Kruvasan Nişantaşı (maybe I am just addicted)

Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Istanbul that you particularly like?

Bosphorus Brewing Company, Gayrettepe

Where can you get the best cocktail in Istanbul? Which one do you like?

Alexandra Cocktail Bar is nice one And "Yuki" might be a cool option with the view. (Not a real cocktail person, If they do not have wine, I would go for a "white russian" all the time in anywhere)

Where would you take your partner in Istanbul if you wanted to really pamper them?

Soho House

Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?

Let's go for some traditional ones; "Cezerye with Pistachio" is a must! "Simit / Sesame Bagels" are nice to try on a boat trip.

What’s the one place you think is overrated in Istanbul?

Backyard Arnavutköy

What’s the one place you think is underrated in Istanbul?

Borusan Contemporary - Such an unique architecture and view.. Not many people aware about it.

What are the Istanbul spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Galata, Şişhane, Karaköy, Balat, Moda, Bebek, Yeniköy neighborhoods.

Tomorrow’s your last day in Istanbul. How do you spend it?

Chasing the cats of Istanbul through narrow streets, hanging out with friends on sidewalks and having small chats with foreigners by looking Bosphorus with my coffee/wine or both together ;) I would definetely go to Bebek seaside area or Galata Tower to see the city and Bosphorus for one last time.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Barcelona, it is the only place that offers me same life style with İstanbul. Parties, night walks, seaside, colorful people, 24 hours living city vibes, forest and nature.. All in one!
