the most extreme was Halo Halo, a Filipino dessert made of an omelet, condensed milk, jello, rice flakes. In a small supermarket that caters to migrant workers
Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Jerusalem that you particularly like?
I'd say that the Sira Bar is defiantly one of those hole in the wall, although not so hidden. It has a cat that occasionally sits on the bar and judges people, a collection of retro arcade machines and the best Israeli beer on tap.
What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in Jerusalem? How much did it cost and what did you get there?
Machneyuda, about 300$ for five people , I got a steak
Where can you get the best cocktail in Jerusalem? Which one do you like?
Either the Zuta or The Gatsby, in both places you can order off menu.
Where would you take your partner in Jerusalem if you wanted to really pamper them?
Mona for sure
Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?
I don't think it is only in Israel but the traditional sweets of the old city (look for Ja'afar's sweets) is a must try, especially a super fresh still hot Kna'afe with goat cheese
What’s the one place you think is overrated in Jerusalem?
The wailing wall, if you don't feel the connection it is not even that big of a wall
What’s the one place you think is underrated in Jerusalem?
The Bridge above the cinematheque which features both the view of the old city's walls and the concrete separation wall
What are the Jerusalem spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?
The old city, The Israeli Museum, The view from Mount Scoupus, and the park behind the Kind David Hotel
