What do you do and why do you do it?

I'm a creative human and i've been working in design, advertising, art and teaching for more than 30 years. I do it, because I love it and I truly believe that Creativity it's our best tool to make a better world.

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

I love all kinds of music and i can cry with Jessy Ware, Selah Sue or Justin Bieber just as easy as i melt with Danger Danger or Louis Armstrong.

What are the best TV shows of all time?

GOT. Get it? The Walking Dead, Stranger Things, Love, Modern Family, Narcos, Brotherhood, Legion. There are more than i can name.

Name some spots in Lisbon that are good for a Tinder date.

All the amazing beaches around Lisbon. The romantic terraces at the main viewpoints and secret spots like the terrace behind the Embaixada at Príncipe Real or the bar from the restaurant Rio Maravilha at LX Factory.

Who’s your hero and where in Lisbon would you take them out for a serious hang?

My favourite hero is Albert Einstein and i would take him to the vintage bar Procópio, at Jardim das Amoreiras, to talk about General Relativity all night long.

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

Lisbon have a lot of Shopping Centers with all the major brands represented. My favorite for quick shopping is Cascais Shopping.

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

There are no such a place.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

Visit museums and exhibitions like the MAAT, the MUDE or more classical ones like the Ancient Art at Rua das Janelas Verdes.

What’s the most decadent / extreme dish you ever ate in Lisbon and where did you get it?

It was probably a wonderful Cachupa, an african dish, at a clandestine restaurant at Rua de São Paulo in Lisbon.

Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Lisbon that you particularly like?

More than i can name, but i like a lot of the classical ones like Procópio and a little secret one at São João do Estoril called The Crew Bar.

What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in Lisbon? How much did it cost and what did you get there?

Hotel da Lapa. It's an old Palace at one of the most prestigious neighbourhoods in Lisbon. I love it also because i was born at that neighbourhood.

What restaurant in Lisbon looks crap, but the food’s amazing?

There are loads of them, but my favorite is Stop do Bairro at Campo de Ourique.

Where can you get the best cocktail in Lisbon? Which one do you like?

Probably at the Double Nine, between Chiado and Príncipe Real, My favorite is the Mint Julip.

Where would you take your partner in Lisbon if you wanted to really pamper them?

My partner loves to walk around the old neighbourhoods like Alfama, São Vicente, Madragoa and stop by the little popular cafés that we call 'tascas' to have wine by the glass.

Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?

Sardines, Pasteis de Bacalhau (Cod fish cakes), Chouriço assado (Barbecued Chourizo), Queijo Fresco (Fresh Cheese), Conquilhas (A kind of shell sea food), Etc. We have more delicious snacks than all the other countries in the world together.

What’s the one place you think is overrated in Lisbon?

None. They all have their private charm.

What’s the one place you think is underrated in Lisbon?

The south side of the river. It's full of wonders that only a few know.

What are the Lisbon spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

The old neighbourhoods and the amazing beaches in both sides of the river.

Tomorrow’s your last day in Lisbon. How do you spend it?

Having a couple of beers at onde of the river side bars at Docas, specially the one at the nautical club in Belém.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

The next one i go to.
