What do you do and why do you do it?
I'm a travel agent! Trying to see it as a lifestyle more than a career... OK, let's be real though, it's not the case everyday ;-)
You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?
"In the sun" - Joseph Arthur/ "The pleasure song" - Marianne Faithfull / "Playgirl" - Ladytron/ "Rise" - Eddie Vedder/ "Back to Life" - Soul II Soul/ "La Valse D'Amélie" - Yann Tiersen... I could go on and on and...
What are the best TV shows of all time?
Dexter/ The L Word/ Breaking Bad/ Orange Is The New Black
Name some spots in London that are good for a Tinder date.
Anywhere along the Thames (Southbank)! If you're bored.. you have the option to jump in a boat and cross the river in no time!! ;-)
Who’s your hero and where in London would you take them out for a serious hang?
Love Ellen Page. I think she is a down to earth person. An inspiration to me :-). Would probably take her to a photography exhibition and then in Orford Saloon Tapas Bar (Walthamstow) for a chill & good chat ;-)
Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?
Anywhere I can find a XSmall size really ^^! Yes... I'm quite petite.
What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?
Neasden (NW). Yeah... I lived there for a little while. It's not nice. Except for the stunning "Shri Swaminarayan Mandir" Hindu temple. That's worth a visit.
What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?
To let the wind carrying me here and there in the capital... and getting lost. To me it's the best way to discover the quirkiest & atypical spots of any place (well, most of the time).
What’s the most decadent / extreme dish you ever ate in London and where did you get it?
The slices of pizzas (at "King of Falafel" - Leicester Square-) look like they've been pumped up with water... Eww.
Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in London that you particularly like?
"God’s Own Junkyard" (Walthamstow) ! Fancy a beer? Or rather coffee & cake? ... In a very atypical warehouse filled with amazingly gaudy and bawdy neon sculptures. Plus, on your way there you'll bump into random cool places. Trust me!
What restaurant in London looks crap, but the food’s amazing?
Hungry and in a hurry? Don't care about how the restaurant looks like? Go to "Tuk Tuk" (Soho). Fast, cheap, tasty & cheerful.
Where can you get the best cocktail in London? Which one do you like?
Delicious tropical cocktails & tasty nibbles? I vote for "Kanaloa" (Chancery Lane)! My favorite's the piña colada; made out of a real sweet pineapple ! YUMMY!
Where would you take your partner in London if you wanted to really pamper them?
Home :-) ^^
Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?
Fresh fruit tart & crepes (Vegan please :))!
What’s the one place you think is overrated in London?
Oxo Tower Wharf! I did expect to have a better view from the inside.
What’s the one place you think is underrated in London?
Do you really know any underrated places in London? ^^ I don't really...
What are the London spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?
Westminster area/ Buckingham palace & the parks around/ Shoreditch (from Spittafiled Market to Bricklane until Old Street)/ Southbank/ Tower Bridge/ Soho/ Camden/ Notting Hill/ Holland Park/ Greenwich...
Tomorrow’s your last day in London. How do you spend it?
I'd spend it with my friends. Cycling to "Columbia Road Flower Market". Getting a coffee in those quirky coffee shops (all over) :-D Going to a random exhibition on the way... I'm hungry & thirsty now ;-) I'd get street food & wine (maybe PIMM's!!), chilling in a park & chatting! Ending the day in a pub with live music on! Do we really have to leave now? :(
What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?
Anywhere in the mountains! In love with hiking/ cycling/ rollerblading/ skiing & snowboarding! And that view <3
