a bit about Filipa

What do you do and why do you do it?

I am a healthcare giver, which means... a nurse. I am currently working in one of the most famous hospitals in the heart of London. Since my childhood, one of the items on my bucket list has always been "To save a life". And yes, i did it, and i cannot put into words the feeling of be "there" when i am needed the most. I've always been passionate about helping others and, that's why I am your cousin! I want to be here, when you decide to jump on a plane and meet me up at the lovely Trafalgar's Square!

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had and why was it so effing bad?

Working on a nightclub! No way i'll do it again, I am too much of a sleep lover.

Were you born and raised in London? If not, where did you grow up and what brought you to London?

Born and raise in the city of Porto, Portugal. Moved to London a few years ago to chase up one of my dreams - living in one of craziest, busiest, exciting city in Europe and, perhaps the whole world. Here I've grown up professionally and personally, my lifestyle has adapted to an environment totally different from what I was used to.

What’s your current hood in London and what’s the best/worst thing about it?

Fulham! I found myself living in a flat in West Brompton. The coolest thing about it? You basically can stay in the area and have as much fun as if you went over to Oxford Circus. There's loads of parks, cool stores, pubs/bars and restaurants. The worst thing? There's no such thing as a bad thing in this area. Even though is a busy area I'm lucky enough to live on the outskirts of Fulham.

What kind of music do you listen to and what kind of music do you absolutely HATE?

ROCKNROLL always! Pop music, no hate but.. a strong dislike.

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

Are you seriously asking me this question? Hahah

Name the best TV shows of all time, and what makes them so good?

Breaking bad, Rick and Morty, Shameless, Girlboss, How to Get Away with Murder.. this whole bunch of BADASSES!!

Name some spots in London that are good for a Tinder date.

An evening in Brixton!! Go and have a beer at Duke of Edinburg (shh they have a Beer Secret Garden at the back!!) Finish the night at Hootananny and listen to Brixton Ska Roots Reggae World Folk Music (okay, it might not sound very romantic but it's pretty).. and i can guarantee a lot of good fun.

Which public figure would you want to see “roasted”? (every public figure is fair game).

What are the London spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Big Ben and the Parliament, London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, National History Museum, Madame Tussaud and Camden Town. Even though they are very touristic you cannot miss the chance to see them as they're the name of the city.
