What do you do and why do you do it?
I'm a Consultant at a Brand Engagement Agency in Farringdon. We help brands to connect with their people - a bit like internal marketing. It's creative, no day is the same, and I meet and work with amazing people in cities around the world - all whilst eating a little too much cake...
You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?
I Want to Break Free - Queen. After a bit of wallowing with Angie Stone - Wish I didn't miss you.
What are the best TV shows of all time?
Stranger Things, Planet Earth, The Bake Off - and then some guilty pleasures that may or may not include The Gilmore Girls and Love Island...
Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?
Cos, Whistles, & Other Stories - and if I'm feeling fancy, Mercantile and Reformation
What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?
Not many places - London's pretty great in that each spot has its own personality. If pushed: Leicester Square (too stressful), and I'm never in South West London. I live North East, so it may as well be another city - it's way too far away there's so much more to London than Clapham.
What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?
It's painful, but getting up really early in the summer to explore the city when no one is around. You don't really get to appreciate how beautiful London is until you get to see it without all the crowds.
Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in London that you particularly like?
La Cabina on Kingsland Road is fun at the end of the night when everywhere else shut but you're not ready to end the night. You'll recognise it by the phone box on the door - it's open until 5am and does some pretty fun cocktails.
What restaurant in London looks crap, but the food’s amazing?
Sen Viet in Kings Cross - so unassuming, the decor's not much but the food an service is incredible.
What’s the one place you think is overrated in London?
What’s the one place you think is underrated in London?
New River Walk in Islington.
What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?
Picking favourites is hard, but if I had to choose it'd be Barcelona. It has everything you could want from a city from the architecture, the culture, the food, the laid back vibe, a beach - and it's beautiful. I would move there in a heartbeat.
