Another classic brunch spot located just a stone's throw from Hoxton Square. This cosy little cafe offers a pretty spectacular menu (seriously, check out their instagram!), and a great selection of drinks. From the current offering, I'd recommend giving the soft-shell crab burger a try!

Marylebone is just bursting with these organic farm shops. Daylesford on Blandford St sells really good sauces, meat and cheese, biscuits, and yogurts. Dash there on a weekend to start off your day with organic thick coffee and a healthy breakfast/brunch. Then do your grocery shopping for a delightful week ahead.

Floor-to-ceiling glass windows greet you as you take your first step into this cosy cafe at the top of St. John’s Hill. You’ll instantly be met with a warm smile and the lovely smell of coffee. This place is wifi-free, so nestle in with a book, notebook, or sketch pad, and be open to making a new friend or two. My favourite thing about Story Coffee isn’t actually the coffee, although it is second to none. It is their matcha lattes that have me coming back, and the darling handmade mugs that they are served in. A real place for peace and quiet, along with all-day brunch, tucked just out of the craziness of Clapham Junction. Win.

One of my favourite brunching spots in the West. The menu offers a truly global selection, along with top-notch coffee. I've yet to try the brunch cocktails, but if the reviews from my friends are anything to go by, they could give the best mixologists a run for their money.

The Black Penny serves up fresh aromatic coffee from Alchemy, one of London’s leading roasters. Brunch here is amazing too - a slight twist to your usual eggs benny and sourdough toast. They serve up a good crispy duck hash with poached egg, sweet potato and spinach; and soft stone bass ceviche.

One of the best brunches in London. The staff here are the friendliest bunch you'll meet, and the beautiful tiled interiors make this somewhere that you can while away a couple of hours alone with a book, or with friends over a coffee and cake.

Good coffee, good food, good wine. Go for a lovely brunch and sit outside if it's sunny.

Aussie run coffee house with three locations in the south London area - they know what they do, and they do it really well. We've always had great coffee there and we'll often head there to work on the blog or plan our next holiday - food selection is great, in particular their sourdough grilled cheese; one of the few toasties to look like they do in the movies, rivers of cheese cascading from the toast to the plate, served with a side of 'hash nuggets' delectable and satisfying. Always fresh pastries and bagels ready to go, you can even pick up a box of Tim tams if you're an Aussie missing home.
