Tucked away inside the interesting Brixton Village, Federation Coffee boasts the best coffee in Brixton. This small café is the ideal spot to meet friends, as it does not have wifi (respect). What I love about this place is the open seating plan out the front of the café, and because it is inside the Village, it means that no matter the weather you can always get your caffeine fix while taking in the diversity that Brixton uniquely offers. My top suggestion is: grab a take away (and an Anzac biscuit – don’t ask; just try one) and take a mosey around Brixton Village, Market and Pop Brixton.

Tucked away down an alley in Chiswick, Chief Coffee serves up some of the best coffee I’ve had in London. Its unassuming exterior makes it quite easy to miss, but trust me, it’s worth the hunt! Pair your coffee with one of their selection of Crosstown Donuts, and you’ve got a perfect elevenses treat!

My all time favourite cafe! Bloggers paradise! If you're over in the area please do not miss the opportunity to have a rose or chai latte at this lovely cafe. Trust me, their food is really good and, the moment you see it your instinct will tell you to grab your phone and take a few shots (they serve a Chai Latte with the face of the owners bulldog , sprinkled with cinnamon.. how cool!!). This place is becoming more and more popular so I would recommend poping in early in the morning. Try the berry pancakes if you're in the mood for sugar, if not go for their lovely avocado sandwiches. CUTE AND UNIQUE.

This place is a go to in all things coffee... they are a wholesaler, showroom and shop. They have an extensive bean selection as well as selling machines, cups, coffee makers and accessories. You have to try their almond croissants- they are amazing! They are the only ones I have found in London without that marzipani taste...

Another cute 'hygge' cafe in Bermondsey. Very dog friendly and they are generous with the dog treats! A perfect place right on Bermondsey Square to do a bit of work or to grab an afternoon coffee and snack.

During my time living in the east, this cozy little coffee shop was my local. Located down the Bow end of Roman Rd, they serve up some of the best coffee I've had in London, not to mention, the most unbelievable Peanut Butter Brownies I've ever tried!

QUIRKY ATMOSPHERE! Everything in one place! Located on a short street off Brick Lane, this venue has great entertainment, music, drinks, coffee & food! Love the chill and "like-at-home" atmosphere. Oh, and depending on the time of day, or your mood, Café 1001 has something for everyone. You can relax inside, drink coffee/ eat a pastry and do some work on one of the many couches upstairs. BBQ outside on the picnic tables? Go for it! Fancy dancing (at night)? Rock out in the backroom.

As a place where I went on a successful first date, I'll always have a soft spot for Electric. But romance aside, this is a solid cafe with great food and hands down, the best coffee in Ealing.

A quiet little coffee shop in the courtyard of modern office blocks. A great place for pastries and well made coffee, and an ideal location for work meetings.

Upon our first visit to Social Pantry, one of the girls who works there explained to us that they do a different 'Butter of the week'.... Say no more! Social Pantry is a cute little cafe located 5 minutes from Clapham Junction and serves up an affordable brunch menu, great coffee, and of course their infamous 'butter of the week'. They also do a mix of pre-made salads to go, pastries, and freshly baked cakes. Get down and try out their Marmite butter asap!

A hidden gem in High Street Kensington - popular among local residents. Cafe Phillies offers great full English fry-ups, salads and egg benedicts. Their chai lattes is one of the best I've tasted. Do not forget to try their cakes too.
