What are the London spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?
Neal's Yard, Seven Dials, Covent Garden and Theatreland. They are full of tourists for a reason.
How much do you spend on an average night out on the town?
I tipically spend around £50 if we are just talking having a few beers and dinner. Adding cocktails to the bill can easily take it over the hundred, but hey, gotta enjoy life.
Which London shops do you hit up when you’re itching for something new?
I make sure to check Dover Street Market, Liberty and End. Selfridges just added a more than decent contemporary designers section that is worth checking out.
Your all-time favorite musicians:
Got a different favourite every month, and I hope it stays like that.
Which neighborhood is it best to experience during the day / night?
Do Marylebone, Soho, Chelsea and Fitzrovia during the day and move to Shoreditch and Old Street during the night.
What’s the area in town you’ll never be caught dead in?
Camden is probably not my first choice, except for the canal side in summer.
What’s the one place in London you think is underrated?
Hammersmith, Fulham and their riverside during spring and summer.
Where would you take a date for a romantic night out?
An easy going restaurant and any secret cocktail spot in Soho
Drunk and hungry - where do you go in London?
Beigel Bake in Shoreditch to dilute the alcohol with that salted beef deli.
It's freeeeezing out - what should a visitor do?
Pre-theatre dinner, a musical and a speakeasy afterwards.
Your go-to brunch spots:
Do Sketch if you feel fancy, Dirty Bones if you are hungry and Ergon if you want a bit of a twist.
Your perfect night out in London includes:
A nice a long dinner over drinks and cocktails at a Speakeasy.
Best place for a cheap bite on-the-go:
Kêu at Soho and Old Street for a delicious Bahn Mi.
Tomorrow’s your last day in London. How do you spend it?
I would probably go shopping for some clothes. Not many places are better than London when it comes to fashion.
