What do you do and why do you do it?

I'm head of Business Affairs at an entertainment company that acquires and manages music from films. Every free moment I obsess about traveling, run the instagram account @wishyouwereherela and do some travel writing, reviewing and advising on the side.

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had and why was it so effing bad?

I've been lucky with my jobs, nothing too bad, but my most interesting job was when I was a production assistant on a Playboy shoot and had to fan a naked Playmate as she pranced around and shot her Playmate of the Month video. If you ever need a Queen Bey moment, I'm your girl.

Were you born and raised in Los Angeles? If not, where did you grow up and what brought you to Los Angeles?

Don't tell anyone, but my parents were living in San Diego the year I was born, so technically I can't claim born. But they learned the error of their ways quickly and came back to LA when I was 1 years old, so I was raised Angeleno all the way.

What’s your current hood in Los Angeles and what’s the best/worst thing about it?

I'm right at the intersection of Mulholland and Beverly Glen. I love how central I am - I can easily get anywhere in the city! Worst part is that, while the hills give me a great view, it also means you can't really walk anywhere.

What kind of music do you listen to and what kind of music do you absolutely HATE?

I'll listen to any genre as long as it's quality music. Pretty much anything playing in Vegas is my worst nightmare.

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

The National. They could get me to that place even if I start out happy.

Name the best TV shows of all time, and what makes them so good?

I resisted Game of Thrones for so long, but once I started, I got hooked and totally nerd out on it. Noisey on Viceland is so good too.

Name some spots in Los Angeles that are good for a Tinder date.

I've never used Tinder, but I would start with omakase at Sushi Park and walk to drinks at Bar 1200 in the Sunset Marquis. Dark, rock n roll, discreet. That should do the job.

Which public figure would you want to see “roasted”? (every public figure is fair game).

Sean Hannity

Who’s your hero and where in Los Angeles would you take them out for a serious hang?

Ruth Bader Ginsburg and we would hide out all day at the Hotel Bel-Air. Got to class it up for the Notorious RBG!

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

I'm not a huge shopper, but I like to pop in and out of stores on certain streets - Abbot Kinney, Fairfax, Malibu Country Mart and 3rd St. in Weho.

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

Saddle Ranch.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

I could always use more beach days.

Where do you go in Los Angeles for a casual night out?

I love a hot summer night bar hopping in Silver Lake/Echo Park. Or dinner and sunset drinks in Venice smelling the sea and adding a light sweater as the temp drops.

Where would you go in Los Angeles to celebrate some freaking good news?

Soho House

What’s your choice of transportation in Los Angeles and why?

My car duh! I've lived in a lot of other cities and have major appreciation of public transpo, but there is nothing better than throwing your sh*t in your car and going.

What are the Los Angeles spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

I like to take people up to the Griffith Observatory. The views are so killer, they get to see the Hollywood sign and there's so much Hollywood history there. I think it's a nice introduction to the city and you get to drive through Griffith Park which always surprises people.

What are the Los Angeles spots tourists should run from screaming?

Hollywood Walk of Fame. A summer day in Hollywood at the Chinese Theater is just wrong. Instead get drinks in Hollywood one night and catch some stars on your walk from the car.

Tomorrow’s your last day in Los Angeles. How do you spend it?

Breakfast at the Fountain Coffee Room at the Beverly Hills Hotel, beach day at Surfrider in Malibu, and my mama's famous "Fiesta Night" with homemade Mexican grub and all my friends and family.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Just one?? Can't do it. Let's go with top 3. Stone Town in Zanzibar has been the most interesting, Marrakech is the best for shopping, Paris, Rome and Rio. Oops!
