A destination for Sunday brunch. Delicious cold and hot drinks. Toasts and paninis. A lively environment, always seems busy. I like their mint boba tea, and their special cappucino iced drink.

Another great brunch spot. Located on trendy Melrose Ave, start your day off at Fratelli Cafe before heading over to the Melrose Trading Post or doing some shopping on Melrose. Enjoy the awesome weather on their outdoor patio and order some coffee and Nutella waffles. I highly recommend their famous "cake in a cup", or carrot cake in a mason jar.

Great breakfast and brunch at this cozy bungalow style cafe. Order at the coffee bar and take a number. Grab a seat on the cute outdoor patio and enjoy the beautiful LA sunshine. You can't go wrong with the menu here. Great coffee, great cocktails, great food. It's not too crowded during the week, but try coming before noon on the weekend or there will be a line!

Grab coffee or tea and flavorful favorites at Solar de Cahuenga. Recommendations here are frothy lattes, sweet and savory crepes, and panini. Locals- especially writers like I and students type away on laptops- are the usual crowd here. Weekly events include brunch and comedy nights

Republic of Pie is an all-day eatery, workspace, and music venue that—obviously—serves all kinds of pie! You can get dessert pies or savory ones, along with good coffee. The space inside has big wooden tables, shabby couches, and lots of natural light.

My go-to brunch in LA. Very cute patio in a converted house in Hollywood. There's succulents everywhere. For an appetizer, everyone gets a small bowl of mixed cereal. You have to get their egg sandwich in a french-toast-croissant with a mimosa. Best yet, particularly when it comes to brunch, there's rarely a wait.

Absolutely amazing brunch but limited seating so usually a wait! But it's LA - there's always a wait for brunch!

Blacktop is in the arts district, and it shows. Murals and graffiti are everywhere, and the spot itself , while small, feels like a big part of the artistic community. These baristas take the craft seriously and their latte art is often some of the best around.

In the heart of downtown + fantastic city line views + tons of outdoor seating + great coffee = what more could you ask for? Nice coffee is aptly named for the experience you get every time you're there.
