This self-serve frozen yogurt store offers both dairy and vegan options, and the rest of the flavors are dairy. It usually has three vegan options. A variety of toppings available. The last time I was there, they didn't have WiFi, which was odd.

This pizza joint, run by a few young dudes, is where you can spend a late night in a family-friendly encironment. I like their nachos and vegetarian pizza.

This is pretty much one of the only reasons i ever end up in Hollywood these days! Even after a long day slinging pixels in Culver City, I can hardly resist making an extra long trip home on a Friday night. Next to Arclight on Sunset, so perfect if you are catch a movie and need to kill some time. Vegan paradise for every flavor of vegetarian (and everyone else in between). Perfect for that faux-meat/fried food fix, but lots of healthy options as well. Recommend the house made strawberry lemonade, super spicy buffalo "wings" and the fried "chicken" plate with kale and mashed potatoes with cauliflower gravy! Yum. Beer and kombucha on tap too.

The great thing about this restaurant is that its great for everyone. Everything on the menu starts off as vegan and then you can add to your liking. Best place to take a vegan and a meat eater on a date together haha! My fave is the fajita del rey vegan and the vegan tortilla soup.

BRUNCH FOREVER! You can never go wrong with avocado toast, but I would also suggest you get their Surfer's Breakfast which is a nice breakfast burrito that you can get with vegan sour cream and vegan chorizo <3

Discovered this place when I went vegan and enjoyed an awesome vegan dog with vegan chili cheese fries. Definitely satisfied the craving. Great selection of toppings you can choose from for your dog or fries.

This place will make you feel so special by the time you leave the restaurant. The service here is incredible and they do all the right things to make sure you've enjoyed your meal and the service. Awesome place for vegans or the health conscious . I'd recommend the gyoza, spicy black ramen, and kiss of a spider woman roll.

One of my favorite vegan spots. I've taken a few meat eaters here that have been very surprised how great the food. Its really hard to narrow down my favorites, but I would definitely recommend the orange chicken, yellow curry, and freshy rolls.

Legit dumpling spot!! If it means anything Anthony Bourdain recommends this spot. They have a couple vegetarians options which is great. Large portions so I would recommend sharing/family style. No joke just go with a group of people and order everything. Recommendations would be Shao Mai, Fried Dumplings, and Dumpling Soup.

It's an upscale vegan restaurant, sleek and minimalist, however, expensive, especially since there are so many similar places in the area. But the food is great. Try not to sit inside, their patio at the back is awesome.

Great authentic place to find comforting Indian food that gives me great memories from traveling there. When we go there we don't even order meat because the vegetarian options are so good. Design is so ugly it's funny, other costumers are usually within the culture which is always the best sign, service is slow but it's worth the wait. For starters- Chicken65 and Gobi Manchurian. Main- MalaiKofta with rice and Garlic Naan on the side. Your welcome.

Vegan & gluten free donuts that are actually delicious? Yep. Highly recommend the Java one. These guys know how to make excellent donuts. Also, the street they're on is super awesome - check out all the other cool shops and restaurants around it.

Crossroads was the first type of restaurant of its kind - a plant-based restaurant that felt like a real restaurant, not a cafe, not hippy dippy, just a great restaurant that happens to be vegan. As a result of the atmosphere and their successful takes on American fare, the restaurant has become a mainstay on Melrose attracting vegans and non-vegans alike. Chicken and waffles, charcuterie, calamari, chicken parmesan sandwich, the impossible burger, it's all unbelievably good, so if you're going to try a vegan place, this should be it.

Going to a show at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Ahmanson, or the Taper? Check out Au Lac. This vegetarian restaurant is so delicious, and usually not packed. My favorite things to get are the salt-and-pepper shrimp and the octopus. Wait... wasn't it vegetarian? These are faux meats, but they are the best I have ever had. The salt-and-pepper shrimp is especially impressive in how closely it resembles normal shrimp. The waiter told us they have had tables send it back for not being vegetarian. That is how close to the original it is. None of this would matter if the food wasn't also delicious, and it truly is.

If I am going to a show at the Pantages or the Henry Fonda Theater, and want a meal that won't break the bank, I head over to Blue Palms Brewhouse for a sausage. Located right next to the Fonda, this little place has a selection of both meat and vegan sausages (such as smoked duck and vegan Mexican chipotle) served on a hawaiian roll with different toppings like homemade honey glaze and roasted Anaheim peppers. Their tap list rotates daily and they typically have about 20 different beers available on tap, with even more available in bottle. Check their website for daily specials (like 65 cent wings on Thursdays) and the current beer list.
