What do you do and why do you do it?

I work in Digital Media. I love how fast technology is moving and it can help make people's lives more awesome.

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

Sorrow - David Bowie on repeat and ordering uber eats 7 meals in a row.. no judgement !

What are the best TV shows of all time?

Seinfeld - rewatched this recently. Still funny, so many good quotes that still have a lot to give. I love what a bad actor Jerry is and how struggles to keep a straight face in alot of scences. Parks and Recreation and Flight of the Concords can also not be overlooked!

Name some spots in Melbourne that are good for a Tinder date.

I'm all about the low lighting and good vibes on a first date. I'd go Fee Fee's bar for the good tunes, Bad Frankies for the good cocktails and Cicciolina's back bar for the best Italian wine and snacks. Siglo or Good Heavens rooftop bar on a warm night would be a step in the right direction. The rest is up to you - good luck!

Who’s your hero and where in Melbourne would you take them out for a serious hang?

Like everyone else, I have a girl crush on Melbourne "It" gal Zoe Foster Blake. We'd definitely go for lune croissants together.. because I know she likes then... according to her Instagram stories (I'm not a stalker, just her new best friend she hasn't met yet!)

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

- Nuew Demin on Smith and Brunswick street is a fave for jeans and leather jackets. "Somebuddy who loves you" on Smith Street carries awesome handbag brand New Zealand brand, Deadly Ponies and Karen Walker fashion. Gorman brings to life Melbournes quirky vibe and worn by all the cool girls from north to the south side. Gertrude street has some high-end offerings. If your budget doesn't stretch that far, hit up the Fitzroy markets. On once a month for some bargain buys, check the website for the next date.(http://www.fitzroymarket.com/#next)

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

King street in the city, its the seedy end of town and not in a cool way!

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

Bike rides! Melbourne is lovely on a bike, especially the bike path near Aborstford convent - but make sure to watch out for the tram tracks. I got caught in these last year and broke my arm - ouch! So try and keep away from those death traps tracks! And don't forget in Australia you have to wear a helmet!

What’s the most decadent / extreme dish you ever ate in Melbourne and where did you get it?

Vue De Mond is pretty bloody special, but be prepared to pay accordingly!! But its a once in a lifetime experience. If you can't afford a meal just pop into the bar (The Lui Bar), for amazing views of Melbourne, 55 floors up in the Rialto Towers!

Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Melbourne that you particularly like?

Melbourne has quite a few hidden bars happening (even more hidden than the usual laneway bars which are hard enough to find!!) This one doesn't even have a name, hidden through a black curtain at the back of Pizza, Pizza, Pizza on Meyers place.. goodluck find it!

What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in Melbourne? How much did it cost and what did you get there?

Having worked in media, I've had my fair share of long lunches. The most expensive ones being at amazing Japanese at Nobu (situated in Crown Casino), with drinks after at Rockpool downstairs. Also, Vue de Monde degustation, overlooking the city. Lucky to be treated to these unbelievable meals!

What restaurant in Melbourne looks crap, but the food’s amazing?

A halal snack pack, (or HSP), is a dish consisting of halal-certified doner kebab meat, chips, and one or more sauces, especially chilli, garlic and barbeque. Looks like a total mess, takes likes heaven! Especially after a few beers at 3am in the morning. Your local kebab shop will be able to sort you out.

Where can you get the best cocktail in Melbourne? Which one do you like?

Second to coffee, cocktails is another thing Melbourne takes seriously. I would hit up Bad Frankie, Cookie, Union Electric, 1806, Lui Bar or The Black Pearl for some fine drinking times. If the sun is out - head to a rooftop bar. Sligo, Loop, QT Hotel rooftop, Good Heavens, Madam Brussels or the Imperial all the North end of Bourke st in the City . Melbourne loves an Espresso Martini, but me, I'm a Negroni kinda gal!;)

Where would you take your partner in Melbourne if you wanted to really pamper them?

I would take them Cherry Bar ;) For a fun night out on AC/DC lane! But if that's not your style, Miss Fox or Aurora Spa Retreat above The Prince of Wales will put you in the good books for a long long time. Both very deluxe experiences. I was lucky enough to have these experiences brought as gifts. But you'd be looking to part with $100- $200.

Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?

Lamingtons! A good lamington is a beauty to be hold! Best had with a cup of tea. Sensory Lab on Little Collins often have them in cake cabin it. Get stuck in! I know you can get coffee everywhere - but i feel like Melbourne coffee is pretty damn good - there is pretty much a coffee shop on every corner. Messina ice cream has 3 stores around the Melbourne and the cakes in Acland street St Kilda are guartaneed to please.

What’s the one place you think is overrated in Melbourne?

Some coffee shops are starting to a little out of control with turmeric, matcha and deconstructed coffees .. enough already! Some of the cakes shops on Acland street are not so great, choose carefully! Check out the cakes in the window before locking it in!

What’s the one place you think is underrated in Melbourne?

Luna Park - if you're happy to embrace your inner child you can have an awesome time here. Queen Vic markets - people say it's too touristy now, but I think it still holds a lot of old school Victorian charm- and kick arse coffee at Market Lane.

What are the Melbourne spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

A day at the footy. If not just to overheard the comments from the crowd and learn some Aussie slang - have a meat pie an a beer in a plastic cup.

Tomorrow’s your last day in Melbourne. How do you spend it?

In a pub with some good mates talking trash one last time over a good counter meal a few red wines - What a way to go out!

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Prague - it looks like a fairytale ...but with cheap beer! Now, that's the best type of fairytale! Berlin I also love, and I see a lot of similarities with Melbourne. Let me know if anyone wants to practice German with me!:) (Ich bin Mist!!)
