What do you do and why do you do it?

I am an Art, Design and Textiles Teacher and I adore teaching kids and allowing them to express themselves! I love exploring all sorts of parts of this cool creative city, so I can inspire my students and be inspired to make art myself.

Claire Bowdich.. Lady Crush of mine. Probably down by the riverside at Riverside for a glass of vino, then to Container Bar for an expresso martini.

Metallicus, Finders Keepers Market, Hoi An Tailors, Op Shops in small country towns, Vintage shops.

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

Ride my bike along the Yarra to Abbotsford convent.

What’s the most decadent / extreme dish you ever ate in Melbourne and where did you get it?

Supernormal. Went on a girl date, with my bestie and had three courses with matching wine. OMG amazing. Try the peanut butter parfait.

Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Melbourne that you particularly like?

The secret squirrel in Richmond for unusual breakfasts reasonably priced.

What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in Melbourne? How much did it cost and what did you get there?

Spa day at Hepburn Springs with morning tea. IT was about $120 each, and we had the works. 5 different baths, moroccan scrub, scones and jam.

What restaurant in Melbourne looks crap, but the food’s amazing?

Most places on Victoria Street for Vietnamese.

Where can you get the best cocktail in Melbourne? Which one do you like?

Bar Economico but now closed but watch the owner for his new place. Now House of Maximon in the CBD for latin american style yum or..The Collection in Richmond. Amazing.
