What do you do and why do you do it?

I work in a network of private Universities because I believe that education is the key to improving society.

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

The Wallflowers - One Headlight.

What are the best TV shows of all time?

Planet Earth, Cosmos, Rick & Morty, Game of thrones, Avatar the last airbender, Black Mirror.

Name some spots in Mexico City that are good for a Tinder date.

Brassi in Polanco is a good spot for brunches, Mercado del Carmen in San Angel (especially Saturdays), in the west part of the city Terraza Santa Fe offers a nice variety of restaurants. Coyoacan bars are always a good option for a bohemian atmosphere (I recommend La Coyoacana but you have to get early).

Who’s your hero and where in Mexico City would you take them out for a serious hang?

Right now Elon Musk is my hero and I think I would take him to the Turibus (in the Auditorio Nacional) because he is a busy man and he would get to see many nice places of Mexico City in one day.

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

Centro Santa Fé and of course the outlets are always a must (Lerma and Punta Norte).

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

I like the variety and one of the most fabulous things in Mexico City are the very different environments that you can find so I would not exclude any place in particular... Except for Xochimilco (Nativitas jetty); I do not understand why it is considered a touristy place ... it is horrible.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

I would go to Teotihuacan; I never find the time to go there.

Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Mexico City that you particularly like?

"La Coyoacana" in Coyoacán.

What restaurant in Mexico City looks crap, but the food’s amazing?

In general, the "Mercaditos" have awesome food; you have to try the Tostadas in the Coyoacan Market, or the barbacoa in the Pedro Romero de Terreros Market (Colonia Del Valle).

Where can you get the best cocktail in Mexico City? Which one do you like?

Well, the very Mexican Michelada is great with sea-food, Saturdays in El Baluarte de Oro Cantina are the best (on Saturdays it has a family atmosphere) but if you rather have something more international Limantour and the Biergarten are good options.

Where would you take your partner in Mexico City if you wanted to really pamper them?

I would take her to a Spa in Masaryk and then to have brunch in Brassi... or Hooters! (but just because she loves alitas).

Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?

It's Mexico... there are maybe 1000 things to try. My personal favourites Cart chicharrones esquites and elotes. (be careful with the chilli, Mexicans always say it "no pica" but is a lie).

What’s the one place you think is overrated in Mexico City?

Xochimilco, avoid it...

What’s the one place you think is underrated in Mexico City?

Santa Fe! I think people in the center of the city just see it as a financial center but it is not true; there are great places to visit!

What are the Mexico City spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

You can miss all Mexico city sports unless there is a Seleccioón Mexicana futbol game in the Azteca.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Acapulco; it's close enough to go every month and to rest like a king.
