a bit about Viviana

What do you do and why do you do it?

I’m a project manager for an events agency based in Milan. I’m lucky enough to travel all around Italy and make sure that everything works out perfectly in our events!

What TV show is a must watch?

The Walking Dead. I’m scared as hell and I have nightmares from time to time but I love watching it!

What’s the best karaoke song of all times?

That is one hard question. I’d say “If you wanna be my lover”, by the Spice Girls.

Which movie have you watched more than 3 times?

V for Vendetta. Amazing.

Have you ever cried while reading a book? Which one?

I don’t reckon I’ve ever cried while reading, but being sad and melancholic is a must while I’m reading!

Are you a planned or a spontaneous shopper? What’s your go-to store in Milan?

I’d say a spontaneous shopper, only because every time I’m out I always end up buying something new. Take a look at Mauro Leone’s store in Porta Ticinese, if you love shoes as I do.

What’s the one place in Milan that you’re sure only you truly appreciate?

Villa Necchi Campiglio. That’s my favorite place ever.

What’s your dream job?

I’m a tattoo lover, before anything else; I used to work in a tattoo shop when I was in university. I’d love to create my own shop and start a brand new adventure.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

I have two 🙂 in the winter, I travel to London every time I get the chance. That’s the place to be! In the summer, there’s no better place then Hvar, a small island in Croatia. Just take a look at the pictures and you’ll know why!

Where do you go in Milan if you have two hours to kill?

I love taking long walks, if the weather’s fine. Navigli is the best area to spend a couple of hours (and a lot of money!).

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in Milan but never actually do?

There are plenty of museums and interesting exhibits in Milan, but I don’t always have enough time to visit them, unluckily.

Who’s your hero and where would you take them out for a bite or a drink in Milan?

I might be predictable, but one of my heroes is Amy Winehouse. I’d take her to Garçonne, a very small and intimate wine bar near Porta Venezia. That’s the best way to close a tiresome day.

If you were given a choice, mayor of which neighborhood in Milan would you be?

I’d say Brera, it’s one of the nicest area in Milan, full of history and arts.

What’s the place in Milan you’ll never be caught dead in?

There’s this one bar I really don’t like even though it’s quite popular: it’s called Atomic, and it’s in the neighborhood of Porta Venezia. You’ll never see me there no matter what!

Where do you and your drinking buddies meet for a casual night out in Milan?

We usually start the night out with a couple of drinks at Lacerba Cocktail Bar, near Porta Romana.

Where would you go in Milan to celebrate the best news EVER!?

Ok, so this might sound a bit awkward, but if I have to celebrate then take me to the SPA! QC Terme in Porta Romana is the best choice ever! 🙂

It’s a Saturday night and the mood is right – where do you go in Milan to party?

If you’re a hip-hop lover, you can’t miss the Akeem of Zamunda night @ Rocket Club. Swag!

It’s your last day in Milan – how do you spend your time?

I suggest to take the tram n° 10, and enjoy the view of the city through the windows: it’s one of the best itineraries.

What’s the one place a first-time visitor in Milan can’t miss?

This is a hard choice. But I think that Navigli area is one of the most peculiar in town, and it could be really romantic too.
