a bit about Yury
What are you working on these days?
I’m working on my time management with the hope that it will help with media management, which is what I do.
What drives you mad these days?
Total zeit-not (need of time) – because I always want to do more than I can.
What makes you happy?
Fly-fishing on small streams.
When was the last time you cried?
I wasn’t crying with tears, but I cried when I was watching The Old Man And The Sea movie.
What’s your latest musical obsession?
When it’s time for a new wardrobe, where do you go?
I hate shopping, so I prefer big malls where I can buy everything.
What’s your go-to café in Moscow?
It depends on friends.
What’s your favorite street or neighborhood to wander through?
Pokrovka, Maroseika, Tverskoy boulevard.
What’s the thing you LOVE to do in Moscow but never actually do?
Boating in parks, I think.
Who’s your hero (dead or alive) and where would you take them to show them a good time?
Hunter S. Thompson – the famous journalist – it will be a bottle of rum at one of the parks, which is insufficiently wild however.
If it’s been raining outside for days and you’re sick of staying in – where would you go?
I will take a walk in the rain.
What’s that place in Moscow you feel like only you know about?
Places under the bridges over Moskva-river, because it’s hard to get there.
If tomorrow was your last day in Moscow before you left for good, how and where would you spend it?
I will walk around all the central streets with a bottle of red wine.
Given the choice, mayor of which neighborhood would you be?
You’ve just received the best news ever. Where would you go to celebrate and with whom?
With wide circle of friends in one of the central bars – it depends on the news :0
When you feel like a night out, what’s your go-to place and why?
We always start at Pivbar, and from there, who knows?
