What are the Munich spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Hofbräuhaus, the oldest brewery in Munich. get a taste of Bavaria!

What do you do and why do you do it?

I am a Front Office Supervisor in a Hotel a little bit on the outskirts of town. I chose this because I love to help people out, especially with their vacation! The most rewarding is when a guest comes back after a good tip and tells you about the great time they had (and maybe even give you new tips!). When they leave happy, I know we have done our job.

Which neighborhood is it best to experience during the day / night?

The area in Schwabing west is a very cozy area with many little restaurants and cafés.

Drunk and hungry - where do you go in Munich?

Find the nearest Pommes Freunde, fries forever!

It's freeeeezing out - what should a visitor do?

Go visit the Café Katzentempel for a hot drink to warm you up -And cuddle with the cats ofcourse!

Where do you take your guest when you want to impress?

Flaucher. This part of the Isar is absolutely stunning and it is one of the first things that I will casually take visitors to for a walk.

Your go-to brunch spots:

Cafe Glockenspiel is situated directly at the Marienplatz. If you're lucky, you can secure a window seat where you have a great view over the square.

Special views that mainstream tourists don't know about:

(Only spring and summer) visit the Rooftop Café im Vorhoelzer Forum on top of the university, from here you have a great view over munich and you can have a drink or snack at the same time.

Best place for a cheap bite on-the-go:

Beneath the Karlsplatz there are a lot of good spots for food on-the-go

Tomorrow’s your last day in Munich. How do you spend it?

I would probably hang out somewhere along the Isar with friends
