What are the Nairobi spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Alchemist, Js, Baobox and K1.

Do’s and don’ts in Nairobi: (Ex: Tipping: yes/ no, public transport tips, safety tips etc.):

Do's: Always be friendly. Have an open mind that you’ll meet every type of character. Be ready to get hiked prices so always have a Kenyan friend to bargain for you. Must try: Ugali, Wetfry and Kachumbari. When using matatus, be sure to confirm with one of the passengers about your intended destination. Always help out the people on the streets with food and clothing mostly. Don’ts: Club hopping. You will be caught for loitering. Enter a matatu without confirming the destination with one of the passengers or the conductor. Leave the country without trying out the vibandas.
