What do you do and why do you do it?
I do marketing for a hotel in Lower Manhattan. I always loved hotels as a kid (so big and glamorous) and I was also into marketing (I liked the idea of influencing behaviors based on what you show or wrote) so this opportunity was really ideal.

Blue Ain't Your Color by Keith Urban and Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flats
What are the best TV shows of all time?

The Rusty Knot on the West Side Highway. Funky furniture, a pool table, awesome guac and a large fish tank! Even if the date's bad, at least the place is cool.
Who’s your hero and where in New York would you take them out for a serious hang?
I never met my grandfather but he was awesome and I wish I met him. I'd take him to Andrew's Coffee Shop and just talk forever.

Ann Taylor Loft - I could literally BE Ann Taylor I wear so much of their (her?) items.

I have a gift card to Peter Luger's (steakhouse in Williamsburg) and I know that the gift card won't cover the whole cost, lol. Can't WAIT to taste the juicy steak!!

Honestly, any halal cart. There is nothing better after a long day than getting a box of chicken and rice with extra white sauce and coming home to eat it with a glass of white wine.
Where can you get the best cocktail in New York? Which one do you like?
The Garret! Ok, this place will get you major NY cred. Enter the Five Guy's Burgers and walk to the back. Then walk up the hidden stairs and you'll enter The Garret - a cool cocktail bar. If you see me there, I'm drinking The Spicy Tequila Drink.
Where would you take your partner in New York if you wanted to really pamper them?
Red Door Salon in Union Square is amazing. I did the couples massage with my boyfriend there once. It's so relaxing.

Peanut Butter. Omg, I am MADE of peanut butter and jelly. My sister lived in Europe for a few years and went through peanut butter withdrawls. Creamy > Crunchy.
What’s the one place you think is overrated in New York?
Riding in a horse drawn carriage in Central Park. It smells and you don't know how the horses are treated.
What’s the one place you think is underrated in New York?
The South Street Seaport. Back 25 years ago it was essentially mall and later there was major damage to the area after Hurricane Sandy but now its home a Titanic monument, the South Street Seaport Museum, a cool trompe de l'oeil of the Brooklyn Bridge, many mom and pop restaurants and bars. There's always art installations or free concerts for Fourth of July. There's also a way less crowded TKTS booth there. In summer 2018 Pier 17 will open up which bring a lot of people and be home to lots of hip events, but you should go there now.
What are the New York spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?
Locals will roll their eyes at Times Square, but you should go just to see it since you will recognize it from TRL and other TV shows and the news. Sit on the red steps (the ones in Jay-Z 's 'Empire State of Mind' music video) and look up to see the crystal ball waiting to drop till the next year!

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It's beautiful and I had the best micheladas ever while I was there.
