a bit about Jen
What are you working on these days?
Music! My garden! Being an undercover spy on the weekends.
What drives you mad these days?
What makes you happy?
Thoughtfulness, travel, hand written letters, hot sauce, good food and beers with pals, witnessing small acts of kindness.
When was the last time you cried?
Two days ago at my best friend’s wedding celebration at the Pharmacy Museum in New Orleans. It was beautiful.
What was the last movie you watched? Was it any good?
The Revenant, and I’ll forever be scarred by the bear scene.
When it’s time for a new wardrobe, where do you go?
Friends closets and around soho during lunch.
What’s your go-to café in New-York City?
Saturdays in Soho.
What’s your favorite street or neighborhood to wander through?
Sounds like a lazy answer, but the truth is all of them.
What’s the thing you LOVE to do in New-York City but never actually do?
Learn about the people who built all of the amazing buildings and bridges I look at and enjoy every day.
Who’s your hero (dead or alive) and where would you take them to show them a good time?
BOB MARLEY – what a cool guy! I’d take him anywhere in town.
If it’s been raining outside for days and you’re sick of staying in – where would you go?
The arcade in Chinatown, Iona for ping pong, or Nitehawk cinema in Williamsburg for a movie!
What’s that place in New-York City you feel like only you know about?
This tiny building on Bleecker street that i’m convinced is the tiniest building in all of New York. Sometimes I walk there just to look at it and it makes me laugh out loud every single time. It’s seemingly very tiny.
If tomorrow was your last day in New-York City before you left for good, how and where would you spend it?
I’d hope to spend it just like every other day. Exploring, drinking beers, being excited and inspired by the city.
Given the choice, mayor of which neighborhood would you be?
Bushwick so I could plant a bunch of trees.
What’s the spot in New-York City you wouldn’t be caught dead in?
You’ve just received the best news ever. Where would you go to celebrate and with whom?
Karaoke with all my best buds.
What’s the thing you love doing that isn’t work, relationship or family related?
Nothing like a good ole boiled crawfish with friends and family.
When you feel like a night out, what’s your go-to place and why?
Commodore for pina coladas.
