Soho -- visitors always want to go but it's mostly expensive shopping and kind of industrial looking.

What’s the one place you think is underrated in New York?

Chinatown. Not always a go-to destination and when people go, they tend to stay on Canal Street. There's so much more to explore beyond those shops...great, authentic food, affordable (no-frills) massages, etc.

What are the New York spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

1) a trip on the Staten Island ferry (free tour of the Hudson/view of Statue of Liberty) and 2) a guided tour of FiDi/Wall Street and the Federal Reserve (you have to book months in advance).

Tomorrow’s your last day in New York. How do you spend it?

Frantically packing last minute for my move.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Haifa - amazing people, beaches, and food.
