What do you do and why do you do it?

I work in CX and Product Management at a startup in Manhattan! Before that I was working as a freelance designer and production assistant in advertising, but I've discovered a passion in working with people and helping companies grow.

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

Lorde, Bon Iver, The Strokes, and Sia. A random collection.

What are the best TV shows of all time?

Game of Thrones, Twin Peaks, and 30 Rock

Name some spots in New York that are good for a Tinder date.

Bars that aren't too loud, but close to a subway in case of a quick escape! My go to is Black Rabbit or ABC Kitchen

Who’s your hero and where in New York would you take them out for a serious hang?

Abbi Jacobson is my New York hero. I would take her to a drink and draw at the Bushwick Star. I feel like she would be down for that.

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

Old Navy is making a comeback, but with living on a tight budget I spend a lot of time at consignment shops.

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

Midtown when I'm not with an out-of-town visitor

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

Shopping. I always go with a mission, but it's nice when you don't have an agenda and can explore the great NYC spots.

What’s the most decadent / extreme dish you ever ate in New York and where did you get it?

A cheeseboat from Cheese Boat in Greenpoint. Like a soup bowl, but with cheese in the middle.

Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in New York that you particularly like?

Rocka Rolla. Right of the L in Williamsburg, it has cheap drinks served in goblets (not just during HH), plus a jukebox and a shuffleboard.

What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in New York? How much did it cost and what did you get there?

I went to a birthday at the 40/40 Club and accidentally spent $30 on a glass of champagne. I'm not a big spender.

What restaurant in New York looks crap, but the food’s amazing?

Any hole in the wall ramen joint

Where can you get the best cocktail in New York? Which one do you like?

Dear Irving. The menu changes, but my favorite is the Lady Charmaine

Where would you take your partner in New York if you wanted to really pamper them?

Sam's Place. It's an Italian restaurant with the most incredible specials in and old New York home, and served by Sam himself.

Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?

New York has black and white cookies. The best ones are always at the bagel shops.

What’s the one place you think is overrated in New York?

Time's Square.

What’s the one place you think is underrated in New York?

Paulie Gee's in Greenpoint. The most amazing woodstove pizza. Not your classic NY slice, but even better.

What are the New York spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Chelsea and the High Line. There's so old New York with the modern New York, plus great views of the city.

Tomorrow’s your last day in New York. How do you spend it?

Getting coffee at Eagle Trading Company, then wandering in Brooklyn to my favorite bookstores and shops and spending time by the water. And of course finishing the day with drinks on a roof with a few of the skyline!

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Berlin. There's so much history and art and music, you could never see enough! You just have to go again and again.
