What do you do and why do you do it?
I’m a social editor and sometimes writer.
What TV show is a must watch?
Right now I’m really into ‘Insecure’ and ‘Atlanta’. ‘Law & Order’ reruns are always a good go to as well.

The entire ‘Toy Story’ trilogy.

I don’t think I’ve cried reading a book but ‘White Noise’ by Don Delillo always has me feeling funny at the end.
Are you a planned or a spontaneous shopper? What’s your go-to store in New-York City?
Very planned. I usually do my shopping online but sometimes you’ll pass a Jimmy Jazz and see something in the window that will make you at least go in the store.
What’s the one place in New-York City that you’re sure only you truly appreciate?
Every rooftop is a sacred place that no one truly appreciates enough. They’re one of the few places in the city where you can truly have some sort of alone time and privateness for a little bit.
What’s your dream job?
In some ways I’m already in it.
What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?
My mom’s from New Orleans and I always appreciate every chance I get to visit and take the city and everything about it in. Savannah, GA is another fun place to visit, a quiet town but a very fun and creative place. And yes, you can walk around with open containers in both of these cities.
Where do you go in New-York City if you have two hours to kill?
If it’s nice out, the backyard at Lucky Dog.
What’s the thing you LOVE to do in New-York City but never actually do?
Go to the beach.
Who’s your hero and where would you take them out for a bite or a drink in New-York City?
Gucci Mane. I’d take him to my favorite halal cart on Bedford Ave & Metropolitan Ave.
If you were given a choice, mayor of which neighborhood in New-York City would you be?
If I can get discounts on the food in the neighborhood, Crown Heights or Astoria.
What’s the place in New-York City you’ll never be caught dead in?
I never go to Midtown if I can help it.
Where do you and your drinking buddies meet for a casual night out in New-York City?
Burnside or Iona. RIP Beloved and Over the Eight.
Where would you go in New-York City to celebrate the best news EVER!?
A house party. Save money by not going to an overpriced event and focus on spending the night with people I care about and want to celebrate with.
It’s a Saturday night and the mood is right – where do you go in New-York City to party?
RIP Elvis Guesthouse and Palisades.
What’s the one place a first-time visitor in New-York City can’t miss?
