What do you do and why do you do it?

I work as a Product Marketer in the online travel industry. At the same time I am working on a project around People of Paris (you can follow me on Instagram: peopleofparis). Where People of Paris eat, drink & sleep in Paris & around the World. I love this sector and that’s why are really passionate about being a Cool Cousin and show you the best spots!

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had and why was it so effing bad?

During my studies I worked in a call center. Well, it was really just for the money ;-) Terribly boring!

Were you born and raised in Paris? If not, where did you grow up and what brought you to Paris?

I was born & grew up in Italy. After that lived in other 4 countries before moving to Paris. Why Paris? Ah… l’ amour!

What’s your current hood in Paris and what’s the best/worst thing about it?

The 3rd district. Best thing: You have so many nice restaurants, bars, shops, libraries etc. Worst thing: It's next to place de la republique, so you have a lot of demonstrations during the weekends.

What kind of music do you listen to and what kind of music do you absolutely HATE?

Love Electro Chill, Jazz, Pop and Rock. Not too much into Indie and RnB.

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

I would have the latest party music on that list! All will be good :)

Name the best TV shows of all time, and what makes them so good?

I really love funny TV Series: “Friends” and “The Office” are & will always be my favourite ones. Less funny but intriguing are “House of cards” & “Breaking Bad”.

Name some spots in Paris that are good for a Tinder date.

I would go to Marie Celeste. Relaxed, cool, great drinks and the atmosphere is just unique. If it’s a “good fit”, you could have dinner there as well. 

Which public figure would you want to see “roasted”? (every public figure is fair game).

I am quite a pacifist - keep Zen!

Who’s your hero and where in Paris would you take them out for a serious hang?

Well I would take the whole Friends team our for drinks & nibbles at the Rooftop "Perchoir". Cool & relaxed atmosfere.

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

When in Paris definitely in "vieille rue du temple". A street not far from where I live. There are not too many tourists and all the nice brands I really like!

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

At la Defense... that would be really sad and an unspectacular place.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

Going to the food markets during the week. I can only find the time on weekends but then of course you are just in a rush and can’t properly enjoy it.

Where do you go in Paris for a casual night out?

Most probably in the 10th district next to Canal St. Martin. Lots of small little places next to the canal.

Where would you go in Paris to celebrate some freaking good news?

I would prepare an "apero" at home and then go for dinner at Bambou (2nd district).

What’s your choice of transportation in Paris and why?

Well as an Italian I drive my scooter. And you should do the same – you can easily rent a scooter in Paris. Pure freedom!

What are the Paris spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Definitely the Marais, le quartier latin and Montmartre! Of course touristy but just so beautiful! If you want to be more with the real Parisians you go to the trendy Batignolles area.

What are the Paris spots tourists should run from screaming?

The little boats on the Seine…. Please don’t!

Tomorrow’s your last day in Paris. How do you spend it?

Oh God, really? Why? Well I would have coffee at my favourite place “foundation café”, do some last shopping in the Marais, have lunch at “le cambodge” and do a last random tour with my scooter and say by to my friends & family. Invite friends at Canal St. Martin (apero around the canal), have a last real French dinner at “l'aller retour”, drinks at “les Chouettes” and let’s see what else!

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Los Angeles! Beach, cool city, great food & sunshine! Isn’t that enough?
