a bit about Roni

What are you working on these days?

Writing songs for my third album.

What drives you mad these days?

The fact that winter is coming, and I don’t like to be cold. Paris in the sun is so much better…

What makes you happy?

Travelling with my man and my dog in the car around Europe:)

When was the last time you cried?

You got me. Almost anything will make me cry. Last time was this morning when watching stupid videos about dogs on Facebook.

What’s your latest musical obsession?

French for Rabbits.

What was the last movie you watched? Was it any good?

The Wolfpack – loved it!

When it’s time for a new wardrobe, where do you go?

Usually at “COS” or “MONKI”.

What’s your go-to café in Paris – to meet a friend or use as your base for all your meetings?

I love cafe “Ob-La-Di” and “Ten belles”.

What’s your favorite street or neighborhood to wander through?

The Marais. I know it like the palm of my hand – and still, I can never get enough:)

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in Paris but never actually do?

Walking around like a tourist. Living in this city for so long sometimes makes you forget how beautiful it is.

Who’s your hero (dead or alive) and where would you take them to show them a good time?

My brother. I will take him to a simple place, not too fancy, with good food and wine, like “Le Comptoir du Relais”.

What would make a perfect day in the sun for you?

Sitting by the canal with a cup of iced coffee, or at the amazing “Place des Vosges” and then just walking around the beautiful streets of Paris.

If it’s been raining outside for days and you’re sick of staying at home – where would you go?

To my best friends, Lior & Uri, who live in my building 🙂

What’s that place in Paris you feel like only you know about?

My back yard… you’re always welcome for a cup of coffee..

If tomorrow was your last day in Paris before you left for good, how and where would you spend it?

In the Marais and in Tuileries Garden.

Given the choice, mayor of which neighborhood would you be?

What’s the spot in Paris you wouldn’t be caught dead in?

Champs Elysees on the weekends.

What’s the thing you love doing that isn’t work, relationship or family related?

Watching TV series in bed! And seeing good concerts.

You’ve just got the best news ever. Where would you go to celebrate and with whom?

To Kinugawa, my favorite Japanese, with my Boyfriend, and my close group of friends.

When you feel like going on a night out, what’s the first place that you usually consider going to and why?

First of all – food is one of my favorite hobbies. So a good restaurant with friends will be amazing, and a small drink in a cocktail bar to finish the night.
