Hard question, but if I have to choose ONE of them, my favorite city is Washington DC. I spent 2 month in this city and I completely falled in love of it. Here's why : You can visit all the museums for free (You can make a donation if you want). You can (safety) walk all around the city by foot. People are nice and... open minded. And finally, the heart of the city is beautiful ( thank's to his - French - architect Pierre Charles L'Enfant -> Cocorico)
