What do you do and why do you do it?

I work to solve people's questions in their routines at work and also manage a brand. I recreate the core of a brand to achieve its best performance in the market. Organizing ideas, image and structuring the "reason why" it exists and what purpose it has. I do it because I'm a nonstop creative in everything in life, crazy about having people around and I try to do the best for others. I graduated in Fashion but working in the fashion industry was really a struggle for me. I like to be the generalist kind of professional. I hate labels.

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had and why was it so effing bad?

The bad experiences I had were with backstages in fashion shows. It is really frustrating to deal with huge egos and people who weren't friendly or polite - at all. I believe respect is the number #1 basic thing for every situation.

Were you born and raised in Rio De Janeiro? If not, where did you grow up and what brought you to Rio De Janeiro?

I was born in Espirito Santo - a hood state of Rio - but came to live here when I was only 10 days old. That's why I consider myself a Carioca da Gema. For at least half of my life I used to say I'd never leave this city but when I started to explore other places I saw I could live everywhere else!

What’s your current hood in Rio De Janeiro and what’s the best/worst thing about it?

Botafogo. The best thing is the view from the bay and the places to go out - from the cult scene to incredible bars. The worst thing is the traffic in rush hours and when rains a lot (you need to wait until it passes to walk in the streets again).

What kind of music do you listen to and what kind of music do you absolutely HATE?

I really like Criollo, Emicida, Céu, Caetano Veloso and Nação Zumbi. I do not hate anykind, but Fado make me sleep.

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

Broken hearted? I'm Capricorn, come on! haha But ok, I'd listen to Something from Paul McCartney.

Name the best TV shows of all time, and what makes them so good?

Lady Night - makes me laugh like an idiot; Lugar Incomum - takes me to amazing destinations and makes me think about the next spot to explore.

Name some spots in Rio De Janeiro that are good for a Tinder date.

Bar Urca ; Comuna ; Venga! ; Zazá Bistrô ; WineHouse

Which public figure would you want to see “roasted”? (every public figure is fair game).

Michel Temer, the non elected "president" of ours. #ForaTemer

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

I usually mix things I buy in town with the ones I purchase while traveling. I really don't buy lots of stuff in the same place, I end up getting what I really love from each. Right now I have pieces from Wymann mixed with Urban Outfitters and Abrand.

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

Bagatelle, in Jockey Club. Never been there but absolutely hate peoples' behavior there.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

Ride a bike early in the morning on the beachfront / Going to the beach on Mondays.

Where do you go in Rio De Janeiro for a casual night out?

Me and my friends usually go to bars or to parties - when we discover a good one. We don't have a specific place. Sidewalks and beers.

What’s your choice of transportation in Rio De Janeiro and why?

I usually drive because I work really far from home. In other situations I choose the metro ( if it's an option to the place I'm trying to reach) or Uber/Cabify because it's really cheap when you share with friends!

What are the Rio De Janeiro spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Bar Urca, Prainha/Grumari, Sugar Loaf, Parque das Ruinas, Corcovado, Vista Chinesa, Botafogo Bay, Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas.

What are the Rio De Janeiro spots tourists should run from screaming?

Please do not stay at Copacabana Beach!!!!

Tomorrow’s your last day in Rio De Janeiro. How do you spend it?

I would start walking at the beach, spending some time to think and have a swim alone. After, I would call my best friends to meet me and have lunch and beers in Joaquina Bar in Leme. Then we would go to Urca to enjoy the end of the afternoon and to see the sunset.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Lisbon. AMAZING, cheap beer and great food, easygoing people and amazing weather.
