What do you do and why do you do it?
I work as a research coordinator for a film production company, we are the creative support for directors, we look for photography references, art direction, fashion, trends, etc ... we watch movies and commercials from all over the world, I love it! I also work as a photographer and film director.
You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?
Oh, this is awful, I hate those moments. I like to listen to "Preciso me encontrar" by Cartola, considered the greatest samba singer of Brazilian music. "Mora na Filosofia" by Caetano Veloso, this song is definitely in my life soundtrack. "Por Que é Proibido Pisar Na Grama" by Jorge Ben Jor, a song that marked my last relationship a lot. And "Jesus Chorou" by Racionais MC's, it's a hip hop song from one of the best known groups in Brazil, there is a poem about tears at the beginning of the song that I think is beautiful, and always reminds me of the reality of my country.
What are the best TV shows of all time?
Breaking Bad for sure, The OA, Twin Peaks, Love, Easy, was it just one?

My place, just kidding... "Armazem do Tibiriça", they have a great gin tonic and flash tattoo upstairs. "Conceição Discos", great caipirinha and is always a disc of your choice playing. "Roosevelt Square", a block full of bars, skaters and artists. "Jazz nos fundos", instrumental music in the back of a parking lot with wine and candles. "Buraco", new place in Santa Cecilia, cozy, small and great vibe.
Who’s your hero and where in Sao Paulo would you take them out for a serious hang?
Wong Kar Wai, is a Chinese director. I would take him to são paulo favelas, to show how much china and brazil are similar in their poverty.
Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?
"Camisaria Caio Dias" and "Santa e Nuvem", besides being my friends and great artists, they do a research of fabrics by são paulo. "Surreal São Paulo", great socks, wallets and bum bag. Flea markets and independent fairs too.
What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?
Night clubs in itaim bibi, They are expensive and horrible.
What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?
Beach!!! I love the beaches of the north coast of São Paulo, I would like to go more. This is something typical of São Paulo, we work hard and enjoy our beaches very little.
What’s the most decadent / extreme dish you ever ate in Sao Paulo and where did you get it?
"Churrasco Grego" is a sandwich made with meat sold on the streets of downtown São Paulo, costs 2 to 4 reais and you get a free juice powder.
Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Sao Paulo that you particularly like?
There are several, there is the "Dona Teresa" in a hidden streets of the Augusta, near the Paulista Avenue. "Espelho do Biro" in the roosevelt square. "Cu do Padre", on the Largo da Batata. "Prainha", near my place. All bars, nice, simple and cheap.
What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in Sao Paulo? How much did it cost and what did you get there?
"Cozinha 212", restaurant of contemporary cuisine, I ate a great octopus and a tonic gin called "Bethania", a famous Brazilian singer. "La Central", Mexican meals and great margaritas, is a space inside the Copan building. And it has the restaurant at the top of the italian building that I have not been to yet, everyone loves.
What restaurant in Sao Paulo looks crap, but the food’s amazing?
"Ita", an old Portuguese restaurant hidden in the center of São Paulo. Simple food, yummy and great service, they make their bill at the marble counter.
Where can you get the best cocktail in Sao Paulo? Which one do you like?
In my place, I make a great mojito and gin tonic with sicilian lemon and ginger, caipirinha too! Haha "Armazem do Tibiriça", "Conceição Discos", "Cozinha 212" and "La Central", great drink makers.
Where would you take your partner in Sao Paulo if you wanted to really pamper them?
Terrace of Edificio Italia, for sure!

Rustic potato in the "Dona Teresa Bar", fish bait in "Prainha".

"Lions Club" is a famous dance club in São Paulo, the public is generally upper class, cisgender and sexist.
What’s the one place you think is underrated in Sao Paulo?
NSFW *** The underrated places in São Paulo are the alternative parties that happen inside the whorehouse or Gay bathhouse of the city, these parties are incredible and full of free people.
What are the Sao Paulo spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?
The downtown, for sure. Ride a bike at "Minhoção" on weekends, go to a party in the "Trackers Tower".

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?
Berlin, because many São Paulo artists go there, it's a common thing. I think people are alike, lots of friends, exchange ideas, places to visit. I've never been, it's one of my next destinations.
