What do you do and why do you do it?
I ride motorcycles (because freedom). I climb rocks (because I like to go up, and the views are great). I am an eater (obviously) ... enabled in part by my husband being a Chef. I work because I love growing talent and making a positive impact on the world.
You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?
The Wildflowers Album by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers
What are the best TV shows of all time?
The first few eposides of Wonderfalls. The original The X-Files.
Name some spots in Seattle that are good for a Tinder date.
I have no idea. I'm old, married, and never did Tinder.
What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?
The joke is that Madison Park is where you go on dates with coworkers when you don't want anybody to see you; but the reality is, there are some good spots there! There isn't anywhere in Seattle I'd say that about.
What’s the most decadent / extreme dish you ever ate in Seattle and where did you get it?
A multi-course foie gras meal at Quinn's Pub on Capitol Hill (before their ownership change). It was incredible (even the dessert had foie!) and I don't even like foie gras!
What restaurant in Seattle looks crap, but the food’s amazing?
Pho Lily in Burien. SO good.
Where can you get the best cocktail in Seattle? Which one do you like?
I go where my bartender friends are working, so that means Rider & Bastille right now!
What’s the one place you think is underrated in Seattle?
Cichetti, a Mediterranean-ish restaurant up on Eastlake. Beautiful dining room, fantastic food, and a lovely dining experience.
Tomorrow’s your last day in Seattle. How do you spend it?
A walk along the beach at Alki to see the view of the city, followed by dinner at Sushi Kashiba.
