What do you do and why do you do it?

When 5, I wanted to be a tractor driver and carve a cave to protect people from lightning storms. So at 20, I figured closest job to this was to become a product designer. Now, I run a design studio with my fantastic colleagues.

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

What are the best TV shows of all time?

Easy; Teenage mutant ninja turtles.

Name some spots in Stockholm that are good for a Tinder date.

Anywhere you can take a skinny-dip in a summer night. In winter, a bodega that strategically happens to be close to your place. How convenient!

Who’s your hero and where in Stockholm would you take them out for a serious hang?

Olafur Eliasson. If you can hear me from here, I would rent a cabin at archipelago and take long strolls.

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

I believe in essentialism. As less as possible. Lucky enough I have friends who work in fashion. Otherwise, I might find a lovely piece when I am traveling.

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

As I said earlier, you need to embrace the town. I have no such spot.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

In winter, take the time to learn ice-yachting, or do cross country ski on frozen lakes.

What’s the most decadent / extreme dish you ever ate in Stockholm and where did you get it?

It would be the dish called 'Dolphin' at Punk Royale. The room was full of smoke from the smoke machine. The chef came out with the dish and put a cigarette on it. Being politically correct was not a concern there.

Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Stockholm that you particularly like?

What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in Stockholm? How much did it cost and what did you get there?

In the year 2017, the fine dining costs around 80€ and if you want wine pairing with it, an additional 70€. 8-course dishes from Gastrologik, Rutabaga, Lilla Ego, Punk Royal, Ekstedt or 19 Glas Bar would be MORE than fine.

What restaurant in Stockholm looks crap, but the food’s amazing?

The oldest food truck of Stockholm, Nystekt Stromming. It might not look appealing, or the food looks appealing, try that fried herring with mashed potatoes.

Where can you get the best cocktail in Stockholm? Which one do you like?

Linje Tio, White Russian.

Where would you take your partner in Stockholm if you wanted to really pamper them?

I can take her to eat out at Lilla ego.

Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?

Crack some crayfish. It might not be the season, and it is not considered a snack. However, you have to try some. If you are not into seafood, try to find some berries if it is spring/summer season. Otherwise, try some chanterelle mushrooms in the fall.

What’s the one place you think is overrated in Stockholm?

The old town aka Gamla Stan. It's all good and cool but you probably have seen a medieval town before.

What’s the one place you think is underrated in Stockholm?

The Suburbs. A lot of folks never visit suburbs. Stockholm hides the diversity, prefers to keep things separate, sadly. It feels refreshing to see it. You will get to find freshest and delicious grocery as well.

Tomorrow’s your last day in Stockholm. How do you spend it?

Did you try the new Nordic cuisine? Seasonal cooking in Scandinavia is worth exploring.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Anywhere in south Turkey on a sailing boat. There are many types of vacations but the one I enjoy the most is when I meet the hypnotic deep blue colour, and freedom to go anywhere as long as you respect the sea.
