a bit about Hana

What do you do and why do you do it?

I work in the Media Team at iZettle. I run the campaigns and work closely with the creative team to make awesome advertising for iZettle!

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had and why was it so effing bad?

I used the be an EA games tester, testing games before it hit the stores. I know, it sounds like a dream job to many but I hated it! It was so boring and my mind felt numb at one point.

Were you born and raised in Stockholm? If not, where did you grow up and what brought you to Stockholm?

I was born and raised in Singapore and I was brought to Stockholm (or Sweden in general) because of love <3

What’s your current hood in Stockholm and what’s the best/worst thing about it?

I hang out a lot in Norrmalm because I work there! Best thing? Everything is at my disposal - hip and trendy eateries, shopping and systembolaget (oh yes, that's always a plus). The worst thing? It can feel a little bit posh. Sometime I find myself having a bad day in general, with no makeup and basically jeans and a sweatshirt. I look up and I feel out of place among the sea of power suits!

What kind of music do you listen to and what kind of music do you absolutely HATE?

I listen to indie and electro music. I absolutely hate hate hate metal and melodifestivalen music!

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

Youth by Daughter

Name the best TV shows of all time, and what makes them so good?

Archer! Its a parody of a spy movie and it is very well written!

Name some spots in Stockholm that are good for a Tinder date.

Ivar Los Parken, Häktet Ölbaren, Mother

Which public figure would you want to see “roasted”? (every public figure is fair game).

Donald Trump for sure. I get baffled every single time something comes out of his mouth.

Who’s your hero and where in Stockholm would you take them out for a serious hang?

My momma (cheesy I know)! I would bring her to the Singaporean restaurant in St Eriksplan. She may be visiting but I know she's a true blue Singaporean and would love to have food from home no matter where she is!

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

ACNE Archive, Rodebjer, & other stories, H&M Trend

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

Any Dovas bar!

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

I LOVE to drive back in Singapore. It took me a long to get used to taking the metro - but now I've relied on it so much and take it everywhere even though I can walk or bike :)

Where do you go in Stockholm for a casual night out?

Boqueria (it's right down the street from where I work)

Where would you go in Stockholm to celebrate some freaking good news?

My friend's place in Skanstull! We'd pop champagne and sit on her balcony (if it's warm!)

What’s your choice of transportation in Stockholm and why?

The metro - it's well connected and so convenient!

What are the Stockholm spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Nytorget! It is such a cosy and cool vibe lined wth restaurants and cafes. Very quaint shops as well.

What are the Stockholm spots tourists should run from screaming?

Gamla Stan main street. Its too crowded and over hyped with toursit stores. What I suggest is just going a street or two down and you can find cute little shops and a clam street where you can admire the architecture.

Tomorrow’s your last day in Stockholm. How do you spend it?

Spending it with my friends and cat, having a drink!

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

London - there is so much to do and explore! I've been there a couple of times and still haven't even scratched the surface!
