What do you do and why do you do it?

I have been in the wedding industry for the past 9 years, doing wedding planning and event decorations. I love everything about weddings, the music, the vows, the cake, the flowers, the dress, the dancing and most of all, as cheesy as it may sound, the joyful celebration of LOVE! It's a perfect fit because I'm a romantic at heart and planning is in my DNA.

What are the best TV shows of all time?

All time favorite TV show would probably be Friends, I can never get tired of them~ Also love The O.C and Game of Thrones.

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

I'm hopelessly addicted to online shopping... It's just so easy & convenient~ My personal favorite has always been shopbop!

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

Hopping on U-bike, bike along the river at Hebin Park and enjoy a nice picnic with friends on a sunny day~ It's super close to our house too...

What’s the most decadent / extreme dish you ever ate in Taipei and where did you get it?

the cholesterol overload sushi at Niu Sushi: toro + foie gras + uni + ikura topped off with caviar and gold foil....

What restaurant in Taipei looks crap, but the food’s amazing?

You can probably say this about most of the street vendors in Taipei, especially at night markets~ Sometimes you just have to look pass their store fronts!

Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?

Aside from all the yummy street foods, you must try the variety of pastries: my personal favorites are green bean cake & sun cake. As for drinks, you can't miss "Apple Sidra", our very own apple soda.

What’s the one place you think is overrated in Taipei?

Even though Shilin Night Market is probably the most well known and largest night market in Taipei, I find it often gets too crowded (with mostly tourists) and the food is mediocre. I would recommend checking out many other night markets for more authentic experience: Gongguan / Raohe Street/ Tonghua.

Tomorrow’s your last day in Taipei. How do you spend it?

The day would probably be planned around all my favorite food, the food scene here is really like no-other place I've been~ (I don't think I can narrow them down to fit into one day!) and sing my hearts out at KTV.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Santorini! We completely fell in love with Santorini when I visited with my husband a few years back. The scenery, architecture and food are all so enjoyable~ I found it hard to believe that it was actually even more beautiful in person, as if that's possible...!!
