What do you do and why do you do it?

Im doing the best job I could think of - I show people my country, I let them climb the mountains and ruins, smell the myrrhe in the churches and the blooming flowers in spring, taste the soft, warm, melted cheese of khachapuri and the fruity bouquet of saperavi wine, listen to the silence of the mountains and the traditional singing, feel the ice cold water of the rivers and the cozy fur of the shepherd dogs and share my passion for this country

What are the best TV shows of all time?

TV-free for 14 years

Name some spots in Tbilisi that are good for a Tinder date.

Café L´inville for artsy and slightly bohemian atmosphere. Turtle lake in the evening if you want to have a walk and impress with a hidden bar (Vitamin). The parking area in front of the emergency (911) center, if you don´t mind sitting together in a car and enjoying the view over the city

Who’s your hero and where in Tbilisi would you take them out for a serious hang?

My mom and I already took her to all the great places I know ;)

The main market at Station Square, the Chonkadze street (that leads to funicular) and the Elia district (if you keep walking up the hill from the Sameba trinity church)

What restaurant in Tbilisi looks crap, but the food’s amazing?

Racha Duxani and Veliaminov - both old style Tbilisian taverns, where men are smoking and drinking chacha, the tables are sticky and the chairs are low, but the food is great (Veliaminovs khinkali dumplings are one of the best in Tbilisi!)

Where can you get the best cocktail in Tbilisi? Which one do you like?

When you visit the country known as the craddle of wine, drinking cocktail is like a an act of blasphemy ;)

Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?

Churchkhela, the Georgian snickers. No sugar, no fat. Only natural ingredients

What are the Tbilisi spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Old town (whatever the borders are), sulphur bathes area (Abanotubani) and a wine shop, where you can taste wines

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Vacations are spent best by the sea or in the mountains, not in the city
